Was a good show for the size of venue. Very kid friendly atmosphere.
We had a great time. My grandson barely sat during the two hour show. We will definitely take him back again.
Monster Jam was lots of fun! Very busy, lots of action with the quads and bikes too. Always fun to see the little kids get so excited. Was too bad several of the monster trucks had mechanical problems though.
I took my son and all his buddies for his 12th b'day....we had a blast in the pit getting autographs and even the nosebleed seats were awesome!! but $30 just for 6 pops is ridiculous!!!!! come on rexall place!!
My entire family went and thought it was fantastic! The only that would have made it better is if there was a bigger venue and they could have done more of the things they are famous for! However, with what they had to work with it was a definate 5 stars. Will see it again if we have the chance!!
everything was great until at the end when gravedigger's truck died and he couldn't finish the show. very disappointing
it was cool. We went to the 2:00pm show on sat and Grave digger stood his unit straight up and it stayed there for what seemed to be minutes. Then he recovered it. Wish i had a camera
My 6 yr old son had been to the event for the last 2 years and this was the first time that I had attended. The money spent, shirt, banner, hot dog , fries , $ 12 cotton candy, all for maybe 30 minutes of monster trucks confined to a playpen , was probably the second worst waste of money than going to the Shrine circus. Attend again ? not if the event stays the same, Sad thing is that my son thought it was awsome.
I liked it.. it was fun to watch.. not much demolition tho because of the space but it was ok . I was just desapointed of Grave Digger who didn't do his free style becuase his truck broke down.. But in overall Great show!
Great time for the kids. Lots of variety in action. Long enough without going overboard. Kept my boys attention and he was super exited the whole time. Recommend it if your kids don't mind load noises. Bring hearing protection.
The event only had three different parts to it, Monster trucks, quad racing and high flying motor cross. Mainly about monster trucks but they spend so much time with the quad racing which is not worth the price people paid to be there. Then after the race they make the interview like WWE wrestling. I guess it gives you time to get a pop and use the rest rooms. The last part of the show is the free style and only three monster trucks went in it.
It was a great show! The only problem I had was when it came to the pit party. We showed up to be told that there was no room and they were not letting anyone in, despite people coming out. Also they kept us waiting until after 1:00 before they opened the doors. This is a family event and many of the children were extremely disappointed they could not see the monster trucks up close, and to top it off they had to wait in an extremely crowded doorway. Upon arriving in the building, we were directed by a staff member in the wrong direction to get to our seat, but thankfully another staff member was kind enough to take us in the right direction. All and all though, the show itself was great and the children ended up having a great time after all.
We've gone five or six years in a row. This one was terrible, maybe it was because it was the last show of the weekend but the drivers didn't perform well and the 3 of the 6 trucks broke and were unable to finish. Even Gravedigger which is usually a show marquee was disapoointing and broke down before the freestyle competition. Sadly two of the trucks were local and it was like watching the farm team of the Oilers, etc. The show is geting very predictable with the quad races and the freestyle motocross. Time they overhaul and make the show worth the $50 per person admission rate.
It was all timed perfect, we laughed we shouted, it evoked a High turbulent pleasure!!!
I left home at 6:30 a.m. with my husband, and 2 boys (2yrs and 4yrs old) We drove 3 hours to the Monster Jam event in Edmonton! Something my house was looking forward to for months! We arrived in time for the Pit Party! The drivers of some of the most famous Monster Trucks where there greeting all their fans with pictures, Hi-Fives and autographs! My boys where in Heaven! The Show was awesome and had us on our feet cheering! We where so excited to see our "Home Boy" Barry in the Western Renegade Hummer Truck! He did very well and we look forward to seeing him on the Monster Jam Circuit!
Perfect event for my husband and our Grandson to attend - they had a wonderful evening together with much fun and excitement and it wasn't too heavy on the wallet either.
My two year old son absolutely loved this show!!!!
The fighting (pushing and running over our jersey) between the quaders was inappropriate for children to watch. The rest of the show was great. The bikes were amazing and the trucks well that why we all went to watch.....
fastpaced, fun family event. Great priced tickets. The motorcross crew and the edmonton vs calgary racer quads was awesome. I cant' wait to take my family again!
As always, the monster trucks were great but we especially liked the freestyle motocross bikes. No video cameras allowed though-that sucks.
