The Maple Leaf Monster Jam tour was amazing. The kids and I had an an amazing time and can't wait for it to come again...
Finally the dirt was brought back, much better they need to bring more big name trucks kids had a blast.started 10 min early.
Monster Truck show was awesome as usual, lots of kids this year and very few if any drunken idiots (at least in the section we were in) unlike last year. Crowd and trucks were loud, trucks were awesome, and kids had a great time. The hour and 15 minute line up to get in for the pit pass was not cool. Got to BC Place for 2:45pm for 3:00pm to 5:00pm Pit Pass, and found only two gates open (A and E) and only two doors open at each gate. Pit Pass really ended up being a waste of money as we had to run around once we got in just to get pictures of the trucks, forget about pictures/autographs with the drivers. Maybe next year BC Place will have enough staff on for the Pit Pass event
What a great event. Family friendly where adults get to be kids again. Pitt pass totally worth it. The event wouldn't be as good without the preview close encounter of walking the clay, meeting the drivers, watching the wide eye wonder of little ones, and seeing up close the battle worthy scars on the trucks. The drivers are truly skilled in person and in their incredible flying machines.. Huge air time, crazy cat walks, endless 360s, almost roll over recoveries. , The hearts and soles of these drivers put on one heck ofva show. Wish I hadn't waited so long since the last time I shaw this event. Best bang for your buck in any stadium.
I was dissatisfied that the demo toss wasn't longer. Where else can you go to see Monster Trucks? Not worth $70
we all loved the monster trucks LOUD and exciting just like I remembered
Pit Party: Too many people lined up for the big name trucks, took 40min to get in. Monster Jam: All went great, I think the track layout last year was better. Disappointed that they didn't have a setup for the trucks to try back flips. The kids we brought, 7 in total were going nuts.
the show was awesome. my 7 year old won't forget it any time some. it was great that the drivers took time after the show to sign autographs and talk to the kids.
Extremely loud Bring ear protection Was a great show Loved the crappy race cars between shows very entertaining
I took my husband and son, we had a blast. The only thing I would like to see more of was the freestyle. They only brought out one extra trailer for the trucks to wreck. My 7yrs old was bored near the end. All in all it was fun and I would take my family again.
Went and saw the jam and the event was awesome. Great fun and very entertaining for all. Saw lots of family there that had a great time..
My 5-year old son is loves monster trucks and this was the first time he saw them live. He LOVED the show. Remember to bring earplugs if you're bringing a young one!
It was a good show. You need to bring back the demolition derby. The mini stock race cars were really fun to watch. The first few free style monster trucks were lame. Two trucks got stuck on the cars and van!!! There needed to be more laps for the demostock cars.
The Maple Leaf Monster Jam show here at BC Place in Vancouver was nothing to write home about. A few trial races around the dirt track, a couple of small rear enders for the demolition car race, and a bit of free-styling from the trucks. Where is the crunching & destruction?!? That's what our kids were looking for!!! Oh yeah, there was a dirt bike & quad show - you can see a better version for free at the PNE in the summer time! Maybe worth seeing this show once but not impressed overall & would not waste all the money again...did I mention it was expensive!
We took our son for his 11th birthday and it was such a good night.Had lots of fun.My wife is not in to this at all but loved the whole night. She is even looking to get tickets for us to see it in vegas. This is a must do.
This is not the show I remember, they had way more crash up derbys, more small acts. Some of the trucks broke way too quick (must be using more modern parts LOL)
The show was okay. We bought tickets because we wanted to take our kids to see it. It was an event that both my husband and I went to with our parents when we were kids. The last time my husband and I went was in our early twenties. It was not as spectacular nor exhilarating as we thought it would be. Our son (age 4 and a half) was excited at first when the show started with the cars, and even the bikes after intermission, but had become "bored" by the time the main attraction (Monster Truck Freestyle) started. Our daughter (age 8) had a similar response. On another note...though I know the security staff are there to keep us safe, it was EXTREMELY frustrating to me that the staff member assigned to our section kept standing on the landing at the top of the stairs, directly in front of my family. He blocked nearly half of our visual field, including the finish line area. This happened frequently throughout the show. He would glance up at the stands then look forward at the stands (or the show?). I have no doubt he was keeping an eye on some people near the rear of the building, but it definately made our experience less enjoyable.
Bring ear plugs for yourself and an extra pair for someone else you'll be glad you did and the person who forgot will love you for it. It's a great show of amazing driving skills and stunts. It's the "Wow Factor" experience!
Great Show. Seat views are great......Looking forward to going again next year
One of our favorite family adventures to date!! Everything from the pit party to the last minute of the show was incredible!! I've never seen my boys happier!! I was amazed that the driverse took so much time to talk to the kids an sign autographs! My boys even received some fashion advice from their hero "Grave Digger" who made their night super special!!! I will never forget how happy they were! And I have to admit, I had a smile on my face the entire time..... I even lost by voice by the end!!! It was incredible!!!!
