Akon Tickets

been to quite a few concerts, this was one of the best !!!

After having my tickets re-located the day of the show (to seats that were several rows higher), and waiting 20-30 minutes for Akon to come on stage, I was not impressed with the show. The set up and sound was lacking. The show also started earlier than the tickets said. The encore was over at 8.. it should have started at 8

AKON WAS CRAZY!!! HE CAME OUT A LITTLE BIT LATE AND SHOULD HAVE PERFORMED MORE OF HIS OTHER SONGS. BUT OTHERWISE EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. HE SHOULD HAVE SAID SORRY TO THAT GIRL THAT WAS HURT THOUGH WHEN HE JUMPED INTO THE CROWD.. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, THE SHOW WAS NUTS!!! GOT THE CROWD GOING FOR SURE.

Just as with all 3 other appearances by Akon in Vancouver he didn't disappoint. It was an energy filled performance not affected by the downscaled venue. All the opening acts were great and I enjoyed all of it. I wish more fans had come out to witness the charisma and electricity that Akon brings to the stage but that left us with a more intimate venue and meant I got a closer look at at the man himself. His dive into the audience was unexpected and exciting. I hope though that no one was hurt in the melee. The only con to the show would have to be waiting 2 hours to see the man himself. I hope that Akon returns to Vancouver again as I never get bored of seeing him live.

This concert was definitely top of the charts. Have been to many others and the Sweet Escape tour and nothing comes close. Had front row and he was very very crowd friendly all in all it was SICK..

I couldn't believe we could stand right up against the stage! Akon shook fans hands and even jumped into the crowd! I thought security would be more strict for such a big star. Amazing experience. Akon is talented and Gorgeous!

Akon was very interactive with the audience. The songs were shortened but he fit quite a few in. The logistics were awful, Akon showed up at 11, and the band needed 45 min to set up! After that it was a great show

Doors opened at 8pm, but Akon came on stage at midnight. The local opening acts were terrible, and the DJ just played songs to stall in between. And Akon performed just under an hour show.

crazy crazy event... definately a blast! I will be going to see him every chance i get. only thing to change is too small of venue, akon should be at rexall place.

As most concerts have ridicoulos line-ups and waiting times, I wasn't expecting it to be that dramatically bad, from waiting in the 30 degree celsius sun for over an hour (even though tickets said start time of 8pm) we didn't get in until 845pm and we were in the front of the line! Then we had to wait an addititional hour to start the opening acts, which were local talent I could see at the bar any night of the week. Akon didn't get on stage until midnight and his set was barely an hr. Akons performance was amazing everything else could have been better.

The opening performances were awful. After 4 long hours waiting for akon he did not even play for an hour! Not impressed at all!

Once Akon took the stage he tore it up!!!!! I was mad at waiting for four hours for him to perform but he was great!

Akon's performance was great but the wait for the show to begin was disappointing. The local talent was not something that I was aware of and did not pay $60 to see. The show said started at 8 but didn't come on until almost 12 am.

its not worth to see him performing for only 1 hour while waited for 4 hours, very disppointing

Akon's show was unbelievable, great show, great energy. The only con was they had too many local talent shows before Akon; they could've got a special guest or something.

My husband and I went yes, but we left at 9:15pm. Unfortunately, this amazing artist was not making an appearance until 11:00pm. We were there for 8:oo pm as the tickets were SOLD for 8:00pm. Doors opened later than advertised as well 8:35. A huge disappointment, and we could not be given a refund, nor re-sell our tickets. Venue was interesting, our first time there. Terrible not to see an artist whom we repect and appreciate.
