Al Di Meola Tickets

Interesting venue, smallish maybe 1200 people not completely full easy to move around. No hassles getting in and seating was organized. They have an app for ordering which is handy right to the seat instead of self service. Waitress was good. The actual seat was poor quality, metal backed frame dug into your back over the 2 plus hour concert. Al was in fine form as was his band. The sound however was not up to standard. They were having alot of difficulty getting the stage mix and audience mix worked out and the sound character of Al's electric guitar was sub standard for most of the first 1/2 of the show. While Al tried to deflect the issues he ended up making them a major deal and pitted the audience against the sound people - usually this is handled a little differently. Overall satisfied with his awesome compositions and technical virtuosity.

Absolutely awesome show. Al and band were fantastic as expected and addtion of Evan Garr on violin made it even more spectacular. Incredible set list. Been listening to him for 30 years and couldn't have been a better concert.

Opening act, pianist Julie LaMontagne was excellent, she is an extremely talented musician and we loved to hear renditions of classical Handel, Brahms and especially Chopin in a very crafted jazz version. As for the main act, Al Di Meola's playing was breathtaking. He came with another brilliant musicial, guitarist Peo Alfonsi and together they kept the audience mesmerized for the whole evening. They have amazing skill and talent and seeing them play live was something we could only dream of... The cherry on the cake, after the show they came out to sign autographs and take pictures with the audience, both of them are very friendly and humble, one can only wonder how such talented human beings can be so down to earth... Bottom line: it was a once in a lifetime experience!

Acoustic dreams and smooth environment was the "Moto" (Japanese sense)! A lot of skills and a good symbiosis between both players. A great evening I had and I got tremendous feelings. They even gave us Mediterranean Sundance to dream for few more hours... Thanks Al and Peo

I was mesmerized by the guitar duo from start to finish. They were amazing and exciting. They were in perfect sync with each other and always finished each piece at precisely the same moment, giving some finishes with alot of punch. I went to see Di Meola because I know his jazz fusion work, but I was awed by his play on the acoustic guitar. I would recommend this to anyone who likes rock/jazz/fusion guitar, and I will want to see him again when he's back.
