Alabama was incredible...had the audience engaged from the first song.
It was absolutely amazing to watch these guys play and am very thankful that I was there! They have made such an impact on the world of music and the lives of so many. Great music, great sense of humor, Alabama did not disappoint they crowd! Definitely a must see!
Glad I had the opportunity to attend. 2 hours of great music and a terrific concert!
I have always been an Alabama fan but was never able to see them when I was younger and I was NOT disappointed as an adult. They put on an awesome show, they sound the same and I had such an amazing time. I treated my parents to a night out with seeing Alabama, as they are big fans, and they had so much fun and enjoyed seeing Alabama perform. My only wish is that they would have played longer. The show was at 9pm, they shut the bar down between 10-10:15, which I was told that they were only performing for 1 1/2 hours and would be done at 10:30 but they didn't finish until about 11pm so I sat there for another hour with nothing to drink. I am a huge water drinker, it was warm in there and I am a diabetic, so having something to drink would have been good. The show was everything I expected it to be, only shorter, but the nothing to drink part did not sit well with me at all.
What a classic band!!!! We clapped, we sang, we danced & we cheered!!! We had the best time!!!! River Cree was a great venue, very comfortable.
Amazing concert! Such great music and great entertainers
I have been to many, many concerts in my life and the Alabama concert was the absolute worst concert I've ever seen. Talk about a geriatric tour. Sound was bad, the band couldn't have looked less thrilled to be there and one of the members (in this picture on the left) was so out of it he was almost catatonic. The venue was bad. There was no dancing allowed, no standing up at your seat allowed, etc. etc. They didn't play very long AND didn't play anywhere near most of their hits. This is the second most expensive concert I have gone to as well. $500 I'll never get back. Waste of money. Huge disappointment. They really need to just call it a day.
Alabama was wonderful, awesome and would go again.
The boys have not been around for a while but they have lost nothing. Great to see them on the road again!
Excellent concert and always enjoy Rama as a venue. Randy Owen really connected with the audience, and while these guys have been together 40 years, they still sounded great! Played all their favourite hits and it was a packed house. Love the music and was thrilled to be able to see these classy guys live! Would recommend to anyone who has enjoyed their music through the years.
We had the worse seats in the house, and the concert was shorter than other ones we have been to, they didn't even sing "Roll On", and we were looking forward to hearing that.
Absolutely one if the best concerts I have attended at Rama!
It has been a dream of mine to see Alabama in concert for many years. When I heard they were back together touring again I was very excited! They certainly did not disappoint!! The put on an amazing show!!! 40 years later and still going strong!!
what a great group to watch, would go again if they come back
Slightly tired, the best part of the show was the tribute to George Jones. Even though the venue might have given them a 'time limit' I didn't think it needed to be announced, and more than once. I'm glad I went to see them though.
One of the best concerts we have ever been to. Alabama have not lost any of their zing, would see them again in a minute. Still the best country group.
I was blown away as how they sounded as good as the CD...it was incredible. I just wish casino Rama would let bands play for 2 hours. It was worth every penny, I would go back to see them tomorrow they were incredible!!! Awesome!!!!
Great Concert, played a great collection of hits!! Played for about 1.5 hours, 1 encore. Its unfortunate that Rama only allows their performers to perform for a specific time limit, becaise even if the Entertainer wants to do more they have constraints. Great to see entertainers who have retired, return to the stage.
Although I am not a country music fan, the group gave a solid performance of all their hits over the last 40 years. The show did lack some polish with mike feedback throughout the show, and some mix up with instruments. Altogether though, it was entertaining with the band obviously appreciative of their fans with good interraction with the audience. The sound level was just right.
I have loved Alabama for almost 40 years. I am an avid concert goer and I love country music. But this particular concert was very disappointing. It seemed like they were all just too tired or worn out to play at their best. Randy commented a couple of times about being "tired and sore from being in airplanes and buses". He mentioned it not once, but twice. There were a lot of people who left early, it was really disappointing. This is the first time I have ever given a less than shining review about a band. But this was one concert I wish I never went to.
