After establishing himself as one of country's biggest stars and consistent hitmakers over two decades, Alan Jackson undertook a labor of love in 2013 and released his first bluegrass album, appropriately dubbed The Bluegrass Album. Despite being somewhat of a niche release, it still reached No. 3 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, a testament to the huge and loyal fanbase Jackson has built over the years. He's sold more than 60 million albums worldwide over the course of his career, topped the country singles chart over 20 times and counts two Grammy Awards among the many statues in his trophy case. Among his best-known hits are "Don't Rock the Jukebox," "Chattahoochee," "Drive (For Daddy Gene)," "Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning)," A Georgia native, Jackson got his big break when his wife, a flight attendant, spotted country-pop legend Glen Campbell in an airport waiting room and slipped him one of Jackson's demo tapes. That led to a contact with Campbell's publishing company and a move to Nashville for the couple. Jackson released his debut album, "Here in the Real World," in 1990, and his new traditionalist style was an immediate hit, spawning five Top 5 hits. As he developed his catalog of hits, ticket sales for his concerts grew steadily. He continues to tour regularly, consistently drawing huge crowds to arenas.

We all know Alan Jackson can sing, but I found his concert to be somewhat boring and far too short. For that price it wasn't worth it.
It was a Class Act from beginning to the end. He sang all the songs everyone knew and could sing along with. He also stepped out of the spotlight to feature his band members as they took musical breaks. I have not seen this with any other performer. I would definately recommend this show to everyone. He also signed autographs during his final song. What a way to end the show.
I went to see Alan Jackson September 24th. It was the best concert I have ever seen, I was so emotional after the concert. Its his music that brings us young people to love country music. Thank you for the opportunity to see him!!
Awesome show! As Alan Jackson himself says " G with an O, O with a D T with an I and an M and an E " spells GOOD TIME ! The only thing I would recommend is that I wish he played longer.
This was one of the best concerts I have been to. Alan was extremely tetative to the Canadian Audience and the music was well diversified. Fast, slow and romantic.
I loved Alan Jackson, he was great!! Concert could have been a bit longer though.
Music mix was poor, over powered his voice. Very impersonal performer. Too shot (1hr and 15 mins.) His one encore was consumed by him signing autographs how bad is that?? Not worth what we payed out to see him.
It was a lot of money for a "little bitty"show. What he sang was good, sound wasn't as good as I've heard from other performers though. I won't bother to go again...might as well just put on CMT and watch for his videos. NOT really worth the drive to Rama. For a show that cost $250.00 (not even floor seats) it was a real let down.
A great concert. HE is so professional and such a gentleman. The acoustics were perfect as so many cncerts have the music too loud and overpowers the singer. This was perfect and Alan should be congratulalted on his professional stafff.
We loved seeing Alan Jackson but he only played for 1 hour 20 mins. What is up with that? Guess the casino managers wanted us back out on the gaming floor! But Alan sounded terrific. Beautiful voice that just gets better and better. The venue acoustics were good, but it was a bit like a civic auditorium and didn't have the same cool vibe that the Toronto venues have (i.e. Massey Hall, Molson Amp). We drove up from Toronto and it was almost 2 hours each way - don't think we'd do it again unless it was an act we just had to see. Come to Toronto next time Alan!
This was an awesome concert. Alan wasn't trying to sell a new album he purely wanted to entertain his fans. He said:"kick back and enjoy" That's exactly what we did.
I am such an Alan Jackson fan that our children bought us a weekend away in Toronto last year for our 25th anniversary with a pair of tickets to see A.J. It was ever so meaningful as "Remember When" was our first waltz at our surprise anniversary party. When he played that song again this year, I could not help but cry as it is such a beautiful song and all the lyrics touch home. It was my first concert at Casino Rama and the sound was outstanding. I really don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Hope he is back again next year for our anniversary; that is the best gift ever!!! The only disappointment was that he only had one encore and it was way too short.
BEING A LONG TIME FAN i COULD HAVE LISTENED TO ALAN JACKSON FOR A LOT LONGER. THE ENTIRE BAND AND SHOW WAS ABSOLUTLY TERRIFFIC. I WOULD DEFINATELY TAKE THE SHOW IN AGAIN.
THIS IS ABOUT THE 7TH TIME I ATTENDED HIS SHOW . HE MAY NOT BE A BIG TALKER BUT HE MAKES UP FOR IT WITH HIS SINGING . VERY ENTERTAINING.
My husband and I , along with my sister and my brother in law enjoyed Alan Jackson's concert tremendously ! We were seated in the fifth row..great seats ! Worth everything we paid for those tickets. Looking forward to the next concert I can go see at Rama.
The venue was excellent. Good ecoustics. However, the show lasted only an hour and for the cost of the tickets, a starter band would of been nice. A little more bang for the buck. Alan Jackson sang so effortlessly, beautiful voice.
Seats were great. Sound was awesome. Being able to go up to the stage somewhat unrestricted was good. Alan Jackson always delivers a great concert. First time at this venue, too bad beverages were restricted at this venue.
Great show! Would go again if he came back! Loved it!
No opening act, no intermission. Alan has an ability to relate to the audience. 90 minutes of exactly what we came to the theatre for.
Loaded with talent...a real natural...great songwriter...every song was a hit!
