About

All the Way is a gripping new play about a pivotal moment in American history and stars three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad”) as President Lyndon B. Johnson.  This drama will take audiences behind the doors of the Oval Office and inside the first years of President Johnson's presidency, and his fight to pass a landmark civil rights bill.  Cranston as President Johnson will lead an ensemble cast playing roles such as Martin Luther King, Jr., J. Edgar Hoover, Hubert Humphrey, Richard Russell, Coretta Scott King, Lady Bird Johnson, Bob Moses and many more.

“Mr. Cranston cuts a vigorous, imposing figure as LBJ in Mr. Schenkkan’s sharply outlined portrait, employing a drawl as wide as a Rio Grande as the new president backstabs his way through the rough waters of a Washington.” -The New York Times

“Bryan Cranston not only lives up to the hype as LBJ, but ALL THE WAY is a sensational night of theater.” -npr

The show begins promptly at the advertised curtain time. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management.

    First class performance

by leannep on 2014-07-03Neil Simon Theatre - New York

First class performance... great cast... but Bryan Cranston steals the show! It's easy to see why he won a Tony for this! As an actor he has fantastic range and depth which the character of LBJ demanded... Awesome!

    Incredibly incredible.

by StephenS on 2014-07-02Neil Simon Theatre - New York

This was the finest play that I have seen. The acting on the part of Bryan Cranston and the entire ensemble was thrilling. The script and the ingenious presentation was amazing. We attended the final showing and the star came out on stage and spoke to us for about twenty minutes introducing and thanking in person each actor, the writer and the large entourage that made the play so successful. The Tony awards people were right on in awarding both Bryan and the play the best in their respective categories.

By far the best performance I've ever seen...and I have seen many. Bryan Cranston so deserved his Tony received last night. Warning - the show is almost 3 hours long so avoid the wine during dinner and load up on coffee, you won't want to miss a second of this unforgettable play. Wow!

All in on 'All the Way'

by Dexel on 2014-05-31Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Flew in from Toronto specifically to see this. Giving my highest praise and 2 thumbs up for 'All the Way' - best performance/play I have ever seen. Bryan Cranston is quite simply brilliant and thoroughly convincing as LBJ - worth the ticket price alone. Mr. Cranston brings LBJ's administration to life ... with laughter and drama, moment by moment. The staging, direction and supporting cast were masterfully creative - so clever and sophisticated. Every moment of the performance was completely engaging and riveting. Don't let this be one of your regrets. See 'All the Way' before it closes ...

    Excellent Play!

by Southbay on 2014-05-06Neil Simon Theatre - New York

This play holds your attention right to the very end. It is well written, well directed and, of course, well acted. Bryan Cranston's LBJ character is superb. He captures the essence of the former President, whom I remember both from personal memory and from Robert Caro's books. It's a splendid play, highly recommended.

Bryan Cranston and his cast were amazing!

by CatchAll on 2014-04-22Neil Simon Theatre - New York

I wasn't sure that Bryan Cranston can pull off a live performance as well as most seasoned actors on Broadway, but he surprised me and even knocked my socks off. His portrayal of Texan Lyndon B Johnson was by far the best I've ever seen. He kept the accent throughout the play and was true to form with his mannerisms. The cast was great as well and the set remained the same except for the change in desk/table/stage/bed or the video backdrop. Brilliantly done to keep the flow of the dialogue moving. I wish it remained on Broadway longer so I can return for a 2nd show.
