This is my 3rd or 4th Andy Shauf show - he always delivers perfection, of course. In terms of the venue, I like History. Yes it's wayyyyy far East, but the nice interiors and staff make up for it.
I thought the show was really good, but too short. I thought Andy did not play long enough. A couple more songs would have been great.
Andy Shauf and his band was marvellous, I don’t know what was going on with the opening band it was so weird, looks like Andy’s drummer filled for them at the last minute and their styles did not match at all. The venue, theatre could have closed the lights, Andy asked them twice it took about three song before they did so. And the light guy…. What to say, I think it was the worst light show for a professional band I’ve seen in a while, the colours stayed the same for all the show, we could even see the musicians faces because there was not spot lights. Overall I enjoyed Andy’s band performance a lot but the rest was meh.
His band was so good it was ridiculous -- such talented musicians; and Andy was so good. Would 10000% go see him again.
Love seeing him again. He such a talent. It was the perfect venue. Ambience was excellent. Just a great great show. Catch him if you can
Little disappointed he only played for an hour. Songs were identical to the note on his albums. No jamming for this band. I like his music and his voice. His stage presence is severly weak. Perhaps just stick to the studio. I can just listen to his music on my Hifi and save some money. The audience was restless. They talked throughout the show. The first act told everybody to shut up. Even though it seemed like she was kidding. I don't think she was. It was ridiculous. You go to a show to listen to music and everybody is in full conversation. Weirdest thing. Just goes to show how captivating the musicians were. Not so much.
