Show was great, including the warm up act. Very edgy and a great delivery!
Simply put the best delivery in comedy today. He’s not for the faint of heart, but if he’s your guy, then he’s the one! We need to laugh at ourselves and like it or not, Anthony makes you laugh at yourself and everyone else to forget the outside world for a fraction of time. A must see!
The show was one of the best I've seen in years. I was crying laughing at points. Anthony is a genius in taking a joke where you're not expecting to go. He finds a way to take an offensive topic and turning himself in to the butt of the joke. I would definitely see him again the next time he comes back on tour.
It was a fantastic show. It was full of dark funny humour and I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was my first time seeing Kelly Ryan and Anthony Jeselnik perform live.
Really great show. I really enjoyed one of the opening acts (Kelly Ryan). She was hilarious. Obviously Anthony Jesselnik was amazing. A greater experience watching it live.
The show was short but was good enough I would fly to see him again. What a legend!
Anthony Jeselnik was the legend he thinks he is! His opening act, Kelly Ryan, was also hilarious though has a more self deprecating sense of humor. The show would have been better elsewhere. River Cree’s venue has crappy sound and it’s just chairs on a cement floor, not even tiered so you can’t see the stage well. Anthony made a joke that it was the nicest airplane hangar he’d ever done a show in.
Anthony and his opener were absolutely magnificent. Jeselnik never fails to bring a witty, dark, and unique twist to comedy. My only complaint was the venue, the River Cree. The Venue (River Cree) needs its own entrance, better seating, the stage needs to be at least 6 inches higher so people can see over 6' 4 people. Like Anthony himself said, it felt like being in an aircraft hanger. It took well over an hour to leave the parking lot because it's a free-for-all.
I’ve been a fan of his for a long time. Are used to watch his show. He was everything I expected and hoped he would be. His sense of humour is dark and a bit twisted and it’s great. I am so glad I got a chance to see him. Would definitely see him again.
Anthony J is a comedic genius. So glad that I was able to see him. Drove all the way to Edmonton and was worth it. Getting out of the venue at the end of the night was a lengthy experience and the only bad thing I could say.
Anthony is one of a kind. Dark, unapologetic, confident and hilarious of course. He tackled some of the current affairs with his own tact and spin and was ruthless as he should be. His comedy is not for the faint of heart and for the sensitive or easy to trigger.
The show started with an opener around 8pm. And she lasted for just over 30 minutes. Then Anthony came on. And he was off the stage around 9:30. So he was on for about an hour. Jokes were great. But thought it could have went longer. Venue was terrible. But what do you expect from Enoc. Audio is brutal for a comedy show. And the bar at the back was noisy which took away from the show. Even seemed like Anthony was getting choked about the people coming and going to and from the bar.
I thoroughly enjoyed Anthony as well as the opening act Kelly. They both had my cheeks hurting by the end due to laughing so much. I would definitely watch again!
Dead pan delivery, dark humor and funny as hell. One comedian not to be missed.
I’ve watched Anthony jeselnik for years, his comedy is absolutely hilarious, it’s not for everyone and can be shocking but if you love dark humor he is the best
It was very funny but would have preferred to see more than 50 minutes of him. Opening act was very good as well.
Thank you for coming to Winnipeg. You are one of my comedic idols, and to see you live was hillarious.
Anthony Jeselnik was good! But I hated going to the late show. Too many people talking and not able to stay seated. Also the sound was terrible. To have good sound at the Olympia you must be in front of the stage!
All new material. Master of his craft. 5 out of 5 stars
