A first-generation Italian-American born and raised in Westchester, New York, Anthony Rodia came out of the womb making people laugh. In his 20's he tried a few open mics, but ultimately took a different career path as a finance manager of a luxury car dealership. In 2019, Rodia returned to comedy and left his day job to become a full-time stand-up comic. He hit the ground running and performed 100 shows in just nine months, and within three years Anthony has gained a massive fan base online and around the country.
In a very short time, Anthony gained over 900,000 social media followers and his YouTube videos have amassed over 22 million views. Rodia's comedy pulls from his real life and razor-sharp observations on marriage, parenthood, road rage, and everything else worthy of a social media rant.
With the onset of quarantine, Anthony made the most of a captive audience, delivering a staggering 86 weekly videos. "ROAD RAGE WEDNESDAY" became a fan favorite, but his Uncle Vinny and Zia Lucia characters transformed into a phenomenon. They are the crazy uncle and aunt you love but can't be out in public with, who speak their minds (whether you asked for it or not).
In 2021, Anthony launched Rodia Wines, which include a Zia Lucia's White Blend and Uncle Vinny's Red Blend that both pair perfectly with any of your favorite Italian dishes. Rodia Wines will soon be available in local retail stores.
Rodia also host the weekly podcast,Ā Little Bit of LaughsĀ on Podcast One. Get to know the comedian behind your favorite viral videos and stand-up comedy alongside his co-host and radio legend Goumba Johnny. Join Anthony and Goumba as they get into hot topics, rants, pranks, and listener's questions and stories.
Anthony has appeared onĀ Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, FOX'sĀ Good Day New York, andĀ Elizabeth & ElisaĀ on News 12, he quietly claimed the throne of "KING OF OFF THE BOAT COMEDY."
Rodia is currently selling out comedy clubs and theaters across the country on his The Road Rage Tour.
Opening act and Anthony superb! Laughed the entire show, they didn't miss a beat. Would love to see them back in Toronto. Wouldn't miss the show!
Wow, what can I say, after two years of Covid Lockdowns, it was so refreshing to be out with my fellow humans, enjoying a live show. Anthony, is an absolute gem! Love his style and we had great laughs the whole time. His opener Guomba Johny killed it as well. 5 stars to them šššš
The show was great, exceeded my expectations. The only downside was I wish we were informed that the show started at 7:00, the time of 6:00 was when the doors opened and we did not appreciate waiting an extra hour.
We love him, best ever . Iāve never laughed sooo hard . I would definitely come back 1000%. Anthony ur the best !!!!!
It was very very excellent. Anthony Rodia put on a fabulous and funniest show. The open act with Johnny was excellent. So glad I drove 2 hours to see the show. Excellent excellent evening.
Anthony has got to be the top 3 funniest comedians Iāve ever seen. I always knew he would make it big! Thank you Anthonyā¦I needed a good laugh! Come back soon! Canada loves you!
Had a fantastic time at The Danforth Music Hall seeing Anthony Rodia live. What a fantastic show!! The opening act was equally funny and Anthony was in for nearly two hours. Tons of laugh, very engaging with the crowd (but not too much). One if the best comedy shows Iāve been too!
The show was even funnier than we expected it to be. We had great seats - Aisle A. Cumba Johnny opened the show with many laughs! Anthony was awesome! He had the four of us in stitches all night! He did a meet and greet afterwards that was unexpected but awesome! We will definitely go see him again! The only thing I didnāt like was the venue. Too small for the crowd and the washroom situation was gross - unless u like walking by men using urinals to get to the toilet !
I have watched Anthony since the beginning of COVID. I had just lost my dog of 16 years and as hard as it was his videos helped me get through that dark and lonely time. Seeing him live was 100x better. I didnāt know how he could be any funnier but he was. Goumba Johnny was amazing as well. He crushed the first part, what a great pair. They need to bring out poppa Rodia lol. Canāt wait to see them again šš»šš»šš»šš»šš»šš»
I could not stop laughing. Given what we have all gone through the last couple of years this show was not one to miss. Both acts made us laugh. It was a really good show.
Great show. Awesome comedian. Knows his audience. Highly recommend. Next time I will take my spouseā¦..who would of loved the show too. When are they coming back?
Goumba Johnny started the audience going and them Anthony continued until our face was hurting from laughing to much. Great, great show. Can't wait until you come to Niagara Falls Canada
Pissed myself laughing from start to finish. The opening set from Goumba Johnny was also great. Highly recommend!
Anthony Rodia was amazing. I would definitely go and see him again. I laughed the entire show and then got to meet. We had an awesome night.
Best show ever!! Never stop laughing from moment it started and ribs hurt from laughing so much and so hard for 2hrs. Cant wait to see Anthony Rodia again. Recommend everyone who likes to laugh to see him. Truly funniest comedian I have seen in a long time !!
Anthony was hilarious! What I loved most, is he had fresh content in the show that isnāt online already. He kept us laughing the whole time!
Saw him his first time in Canada. This was just as exciting and funny. A must watch for any comedian lover. Follow him immediately!!
The show was amazing heās friendly took the time to see ppl afterwords but the security at Danforth music hall was terrible guided ppl out didnāt know that Anthony announced said to meet outside and once you got told to leave side door security refused to let us in but Anthony himself was so nice that even almost an hour later he came out to see the last of us outside waiting he is an absolute Angel down to earth cares about his fans and actually almost didnāt get a flight here and had to rearrange flights just to make it to Toronto so he gets a 10 stars from me but Danforth music hall Iād give them a 3 star thatās it. He should play a bigger venue he would definitely fill it up Way to go Anthony Rodia
Excellent show, if i could give 10 stars i would!!! Laughed so hard our stomachs hurt:)
