    UNREAL

by Barbs on 2011-07-17Benaroya Hall - S. Mark Taper Auditorium - Seattle

I got upgraded to sit in the front row, when I was previously in the balcony! It was amazing. Eddie did a duet with Glen with no microphones, just the uke. Unbelievable. Eddie threw me a guitar pick. 8^D

    Eddie Vedder strikes again!

by Vedder74 on 2011-07-05Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Phenomenal show. Once again he does not disappoint, worth the drive from Barrie to Detroit. Stellar venue, such ornate detail on the inside. Glen Hansard was also incredible.

    Eddie was fantastic!

by Winnipeggers on 2011-07-04Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

Eddie Vedder put on a hell of a show at the Orpheum on Saturday night. Love the mix of solo material and PJ songs. Throw in a dash of Glen Hansard dueting with Eddie and it was a magical night.

    Eddie in Detroit

by Hawaii on 2011-06-29Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Words cannot explain...Eddie Vedder is a true artist, in which he can allow us (the audience/fans) lose ourselves in his words, actions, and overall love for music. I feel extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to once again see him in concert, whether it be solo or with Pearl Jam.

    Eddie Vedder Timeless

by lilway2u on 2011-06-28Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I've seen PJ so many times but Eddie has certainly made this one my #1. It felt like he was singing to each and everyone of us which made it great. He loves his fans and I love him. He still has that great sound that makes me melt in my seat. He sang everything and put his whole heart into it that made me feel so honoured to be in his presence. Canada loves you Eddie!

Eddie at the Fox, Detroit, MI

by gozzo on 2011-06-28Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Eddie was on fire diverging from his typical set so far this tour. Ed included unique arrangements of Immortality and Soon Forget as well of covers of his idols' Pete Townshend's Let my Love Open the Door and Neil Young's Needle and the Damage done. Opener Glen Hansard was amazing and is worth the cost of admission alone. His duet of Falling Slowly with Ed was gravy on a memorable evening. Only draw back to an otherwise excellent performance/evening were the bonehead drunken with the ball cap on backwards frat boys (and girls) who consistently and constantly bellowed "i love you eddieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' or something else as equally stupid during the quietest of songs and ed's in between song stories and the over zealous grey haired ushers getting in patrons faces every time someone took a cell phone out to check the time. I didn't have a cell phone, but their constant flashing of their mini mag lights was a nuisance all evening. A note to the Fox Theatre folks: reign that behaviour in. Oh and yes, the cops outside the theatre after the show being heavy handed with patrons exiting the theatre and spilling out onto Woodward...a note to Detroit's finest: close two lanes of traffic as there was next to no volume out on the road and stop beating people for a non offence...after all this wasn't the Toronto G20 or Vancouver Stanley Cup Riot where actual crimes were being committed.
