    fun times had by all

    by katbow on 2023-08-16

we loved it, they played all the bangers. the confetti was a great touch however the volume could have been louder. I know it's a family show but we could hear audience singing louder than the kidz bop kids. Please turn it up!

    Better security measures

    by Mallory on 2023-08-16

Was disappointed there was only 4 kids bop kids and not more. The show felt like it was missing something. But most of all I was not happy with security. A little girl was separated from her family and instead of helping her they told her she had to leave the area. I ended up getting mad with security saying they need to let the girl through so that she can get back to her family and that they cant just tell her to go in the opposite direction, that is unsafe. You need to train your staff better in these situations. This girl was very distraught. I am a mom and could help but in this world who knows what could happen.

    Underwhelmed

    by Nkem on 2023-08-16

My kids loved the concert experience, but I was underwhelmed because I was expecting to see the same kids from the music videos. We went to the Mini Kids Pop concert in May and everyone that was in the music videos performed at the concert. I understand that the organization is trying to give every kid a chance to be a Kidz Bop Kid, but the kids on tour should also be the kids we know and love in the music videos.

    Kidz Bop at Budweiser

    by Kate on 2023-08-16

The concert was a lot of fun, however it would have been nice to hear the Kidz bop kids SING and not lip sing. Or have some special effects during the show. Overall though, my 5 year old enjoyed the show.

    Mediocre show falls below expectation

    by Traz713 on 2023-08-16

The event was well organized. The lines were rather quick and staff were helpful in the event. The food and drinks were plenty but as always they were very overpriced, monopolizing on the fact that there are only those few vendors. The show was below expectations. My kids were not really impressed. It was all lip-singing so it lacked any personal touch. Only 4 kids came on stage and all were unknown and new so my children could not relate, once again, and were left confused, unimpressed, and unsatisfied as they were not able to see the Kidz Bop Kids they know and expected.

    Just ok

    by Mish on 2023-08-16

I thought there could have been props. They only had a screen behind them which was alright but they need to do more . The end of the show was the highlight as the confetti flew in the air it was at that point we were pumped but ofcourse it was the end.

    Vancouver show

by 2kidsndad on 2020-03-11UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

KidzBop was enjoyed by our kids (5 and 11). The show was a good length, and the performers gave a lot of energy to the crowd. Unfortunately the stadium was 1/2 empty, so the crowd energy was low, but the singers did their best to get the crowd going. We were hoping for some more current music from the KidzBop repertoire, as many of the songs were very dated (3-4yrs old) and the routine could use a refresh. But all in all our kids had fun at the event.

    Disappointing

    by K. T. on 2020-03-06Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Disappointed that the show was overall a low-budget event with lip-syncing throughout. Not worth the money.

    Rip off

by Mandy on 2020-03-03Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Considering all it you get is 4 kids on a stage singing other people’s music, I don’t think it should have been so expensive. I paid $150 for row 8 in the balcony. They don’t have any props or back up dancers just confetti and a smoke machine. Like concert with actual artists who are like 20-30. I didn’t find it that entertaining either, singing its self was ok but song selection not good. A lot of slower songs nothing the kids would wanna dance to.

    Great family fun

by Holly on 2020-02-26FirstOntario Concert Hall (Formerly Hamilton Place) - Hamilton

The Kidz Bop kids are incredibly talented, and very sweet. They put on a fantastic show that had all the kids up out of their seats singing and dancing along. I loved the look of joy on my daughters face! She’s still telling me it was the best day ever!

    Not what I expected

by Not what I expected on 2020-02-26FirstOntario Concert Hall (Formerly Hamilton Place) - Hamilton

The concession/merchandise stands were not capable of handling the size of the audience, as a result there was allot of congestion getting in, out, around the lobby/entrance and through to your seats. Signage was also poor. We expected a slightly higher cost for licensing etc. however, it cost $41 for a bucket of popcorn, 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of Bubbly which was grossly expensive in my opinion, not to mention if paying by debit/credit you were forced to include a tip of at least 15%. They also were serving alchohol which, personally, I thought was a bit awkward at a kids themed concert. Most of the merchandising items being promoted were labeled as 2019 (with exception to the newest KB 40 CD), for a concert taking place in 2020. I get it, the tour started in 2019, but this should also be reflected in the merch. The 4 performers were amazing and full of energy throughout the entire concert. They were engaging with the audience and certainly got everyone up and dancing. The best part of the show (IMO) was the dancing dad's contest. We were however surprised by the playlist of songs as most of the set featured songs from the KB 39 or 2019 instead of the newest KB 40 or 2020 songs. Perhaps this is is the reason for the 2019 merchandise??? The acoustic quality was poor and crackly, the special effects were over done and at some points many people in the audience were covering their eyes on account of the blinding and intense lighting effects. We likely will not attend future KB concerts and will think twice of attend similar events at this location.
