The emotions/feelings/moods of the characters (whether joyful or disturbing) in each dance were captured by the ballerinas. They told the stories of the Handmaids and had the audience entranced.
The professionalism of the company shone through the heavy subject matter. Took their art to the next level. Highly recommend.
Phenomenal dancing portraying a iconic story. Can't say enough good things - the score was fantastic, too. The music was not live, and I would have liked to know who was playing on the recordings, that is the only thing. But the dancing = perfection.
Amazing. It's incredible how much of a complex story can be recounted and conveyed with dance and music. Brilliantly done. Worth the price of admission twice over. Thank you.
The RWB performance was one of the best Ive seen as was the music that went wih it.
The dancing was great however, I was confused and didn’t really understand the story line. I picked up on a few things but I just mostly watched the dancers with their amazing poise and grace.
I gasped, I melted, I cried. What an incredible way to tell the handmaids tale.
Perhaps not the best book/show to interpret but still enjoyable. A little to literal to the show.
This performance was truly moving, Art immitating Life. Wonderful and creative interpretation of Atwood's works. Truly riveting from start to finish. Dark, but uplifting too.
An amazing performance .... from the impeccable dancers to the staging, lighting, costumes and music. One of the most captivating ballets I've ever witnessed ....simply perfection! Bravo!
