Nana Mouskouri Tickets

An amazing performance and a bittersweet goodbye - we are so glad we went. Her song "White Rose of Athens" was a major hit in 1961 in Germany when my husband and me first met (in Germany) and her songs were always part of our lives now as we will celebrate our 50th anniversary next year. What a great ambassador for her country. I so much wished there were some CD's on sale in the Lobby - Nana's CD's are not so easy to find anymore Anyway - it was a great evening!!

I took my husband to Nana's concert for our 49th anniversary. He was so totally enthralled. He has been in love with her for a very long time and he was not disappointed.

I enjoyed the show but I found that her voice naturally is not that good as she is 80 years old

Seeing Nana after so many years was rejuvinating. Her voice, although thin at times, always surprised the audience on the next note with it's fullness and airry quality. We were all swept away with the repetoire of her band, the choice of songs and the addition of her daughter's voice to the ensemble. I especially like the set she sang in tribute to past mentors who had helped her career many decades ago. Her treatment of these jazz type favorites was spot on and brought tears to my eyes several times. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed her concert - amazing for a lady of 79 years.

What a wonderful concert! I had wondered if Nana still had her same vocal abilities because, after all, she is almost 80! Well, she certainly did not disappoint!! When she first started, she was a bit shaky, but after the first song, that powerful voice just continued to build. Every song she sang brought back such wonderful memories of going to her previous concerts with my dear Mom, and brought a few tears, but also joy. This is such a gracious lady and she was greatly appreciated by her audience. We did not want her to leave the stage, nor did she want to leave it. She sang a beautiful a cappella piece as a final encore after her band left. Fabulous!!!!

Amazing I was exceptionally pleased with her choice of songs & loved the chance to meet her daughter who it appears has her mothers gift of song. Beautiful concert ladies.

It amazed me that this woman is very much in control of the entire crowd, at all times.

She was great. A fond farewell to a gracious lady.

Seeing Nana on her 80th birthday tour was an experience we will never forget. Her voice was magical and timeless. We had a very enjoyable evening and recommend anyone than can attend do so.

Great Performance by Nanna and her daughter. She has so many songs I didn't get to hear what I came for. But great anyway.

Happy to see Nana afer many years! She is gracious, humble and very giving of herself. Nice to hear her stories and gain insight into her life. Terrific to be introduced to her daughter. Although her voice is not as strong as it once was, it is still beautiful and evokes such deep emotion. Her daughter is truly blessed with the same strong, clear voice. The quartet/band that accompanied her were excellent!

I was worried when I heard what Nana's age was but she still has a great voice with a huge range. We were very surprised to hear her daughter and enjoyed her singing very much too! We last heard Nana at the same venue approximately 40 years ago and had the chance to meet her back stage. Enjoyed the show immensely. However we were not impressed with the venue! The parking and traffic were horrendous! We had to wait 40 minutes to get out of the parkade, which has only one exit or entrance!

Nana was better then I had ever expected to hear she was the best yet that I have ever heard and seen in live Concert , she has the most warmest voice and her acoustic voice was breath taking Warm person

For a woman of this age to still be out touring deserves kudos for this alone. As the night went on, the stronger her voice became. It was so great to see her daughter, Lenou, sing with her mother. She too has a beautiful voice but none will compare to Nana.

At age of 80, Nana was amazing to listen to. I am just a little bit disappointed that not all the familiar and golden oldies from her collection were performed. Nana's daughter was great but I paid to watch Nana. I brought my son who has never heard of her. I fell in love with her old songs when I was in high school.

Nana still has excellent pitch and tone and can still hit the high notes. She did many of her old classics and did a 2 hour show with a 20 minute break. Unfortunately, it seemed just too short, another half hour would have been more to expectation. Her daughter also performed and her youth added a lot of life to the show. If she hasn't already got a solo carreer underway, she certainly has the tallent to do so. Would I go again? Yes, but I'd still be looking for a longer performance.

I love Nana Mouskouri but i found this concert a disappointment. It started 15 minutes late, and there were no apologies or reason given for the delay. The singing was OK but she had difficulty with the higher ranges where her voice tended to screech. It was a pity because she is such a wonderful person and was a superlative singer. I wish she had held firm to her previous "Farewell Tour" commitment. I found it a bit sad but i still love Nana M. I will live with mu memories.

Nana with her daughter ( and band of course) gave us a very pleasant evening with a variety of songs in several languages ( German, French, Greek, English...). Lenoue sang two solo, with the band accompanying .Amazing grace was sung for an encore with her daughter , but only a few verses. Program was a bit short considering she has over two hundred albums and has recorded some two and a half thousand tunes. Parking at the Jube parkade was absolutely atrocious! A 25 min. traffic jam to get in, and a 30 minute wait to get out, very bad parking accommodations, with no traffic direction at the light across from the Butterdome. Makes one want to never go to an attraction at the Jubilee Auditorium again, and only because of bad parking design and execution.

The entire concert was amazing!!! Nana's voice is so powerful that she often had to pull the microphone away, incredible for anyone let alone someone who is 79 yrs old. The way she explained the story behind each song brought more meaning to every single performance. I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to have been present at one of the worlds greatest voices of all time!!!

Nana was as amazing as ever. Her voice is still as beautiful as it ever was. I could listen her everyday. She is my dad's favourite singer and I grew up listening to her.
