About

With over three decades on the scene, Bad Religion are iconic stalwarts of the Southern California punk movement. Comprised of equal parts musicianship, rancor and intelligence, the band is known for their onslaught of well-crafted, finely executed songs of social commentary and sardonic wit. Tickets to their live concerts bear the holder witness to relentless, rapid-fire sets that span the breadth of their career, including entertaining diatribes of insight from frontman Greg Graffin. Their 2013 European tour featured over 40 concert dates across 15 countries, treating fans to extended sets of their decade-spanning catalog. Following the release of 2013's True North, which garnered positive reviews and peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200, the band kept fans guessing with the release of Christmas Songs, an album of holiday covers done in the band's signature spitfire style.

Since their inception in the early '80s, Bad Religion has remained vital to the identity of punk and hardcore. Their gold-certified 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction is a classic of the genre, gaining the band widespread attention and their first bana fide hit with the prescient "21st Century (Digital Boy)." In 2002 the band released The Process of Belief, garnering another round of praise from critics for hit single "Sorrow." With a whopping 17 studio albums and two live albums, Bad Religion has achieved commercial success without compromising their upstart ideals, and a legion of dedicated fans looks forward to their 2014 tour dates.

  • Bad Religion is a tight band!!!

by jaimz on 2013-04-02Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If you saw the members of Bad Religion walking the streets of california or new york, you would think they are just regular guys going about their business. However, what you dont realize is that these successful businessmen are one of THE tightest punk bands (or any band really) in the world. The professionalism in their music, the camaraderie on stage and the amazing lyrics are only a part in parcel of what this band is capable of. I have seen them many times over the years they have been playing live shows and all I can say is that, like a good cheese, they get better with age. Never change BR, you guys kill it every time. The Bronx and Polar Bear club are stellar bands and did a fine upstanding job in the absence of Against Me!

    by phd75 on 2010-10-21Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

Again what an amazing show. This was my 6th time seeing them, 4th time at Metropolis at what an awesome show. Again Greg's lyrics are Bang Tidy and the back ups are killer. Mosh pit was impressive as always and great price for an amazingly sweet band. Peace out and everyone should see at least 1 BR show before they die!

  • 30 years of Punk Rock.

by thebigsmuz on 2010-10-18Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Bad Religion still has what it takes to put on a hard, fast, in-your-face punk show. The crowd loved every minute, and you could tell that the band did as well. I highly recommend seeing them live, as I have several times now, and it never gets old. In fact, they keep getting better. The Bouncing Souls were also great, and openers Off With Their Heads did a great job, too.

  • 30 years on and still rocking!

A show for fans of the band with singalongs and Mr. Graffin on top of his game. Oh! and t-shirts @ 20$! Thx BR!

  • BR Killed it

  • perfect set list, perfect show

by Dinosty on 2010-10-16Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

They killed it again. Played every song I wanted to hear , finished with my favourite track ("Sorrow"), and hosted yet another energetic-yet-civilized mosh pit.

  • Amazing

    by Dan100 on 2010-10-16Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

30 years and still going strong. Punk at its best. With the exception of the bright white lights that kept blinding me for about half the show, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The icing on the cake? Bouncing Souls. Always wanted to see them, but never was able to. Another great performance.

  • What would you expect after 30 years????

by PsyberXtreme on 2010-10-16Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Not much that I can say other than Fan-friggin-tastic! Bad Religion rocked the house for 2.5hrs straight and I loved every minute of it. I haven't missed a concert in 20yrs in Toronto and hopefully Greg and the boys will continue to stay tight so I can bring my daughter in 15yrs. She insists we listen to Bad Religion in the car where ever we go.... and she's only 3 1/2! Thanks for the great show as always guys!

  • Bouncing Religion

by Katwinkie on 2010-10-16Kool Haus - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The two bands were an awesome combination! Both a blast from the past and the crowd was decent. The mosh pit wasn't ruthless, it was classic slam dancing the way it should be.
