About

The Flatliners on Tour

Punk rock, ska-punk, hardcore punk, pop punk, and indie rock are all appropriate ways to describe the head-banging quartet The Flatliners. The Flatliners are currently touring across 10 countries with 31 concerts in Europe and Canada on their 20th Anniversary Tour. With face-melting riffs, mesmerizing lyrics and a deadly baseline, the Flatliners are a must-see for any and all punk fans. Forming in 2002, the Canadian rock band consists of singer and rhythm guitarist Chris Cresswell, lead guitarist Scott Brigham, bassist Jon Darbey, and drummer Paul Ramirez. Their live performances are full of excitement and thrills. "The Flatliners are an amazing hard working band," said one fan in a concert review on songkick. "They always just want everyone to have a great and safe time." Originally touring across Canada's punk scene in the early 2000s, the Flatliners self-released their first album Destroy to Create in 2005; shortly after this release their debut album was discovered and distributed throughout North America by Stomp Records. In 2007, the band released their second album, The Great Awake under a new label, Fat Wreck Chords.  Originating as a ska-punk sound, they morphed into a softer pop-punk soundscape after signing with their new label. This new genre of music continued into their third album, 2010's Cavalcade. Perhaps yearning for their days of heavy ska-punk, the band switched their sound back to a more intense and in-your-face attitude for their 2013 Dead Language album. This album earned them a highly desirable Juno nomination in 2014 for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year. After more than a decade of creating music, the band published Division of Spoils: A Collection of B-sides and Rarities, an accumulation of extra songs and eclectic covers that did not make it on any of their previous albums. In 2017, the Flatliners released Inviting Light, with tracks including "Mammals," "Human Party Trick" and "No Roads."

The Flatliners Live in Concert

Constantly touring since 2006, the Flatliners have performed over 700 times, making stops around the globe and at festivals such as Riot Fest, Warped Tour and the Reading and Leeds Festival. Forming in Richmond Hill, Ontario, the Flatliners have performed with Less than Jake, Reel Big Fish and NOFX among a number of other game-changing bands during their lustrous tenure. In 2022, the Flatliners released the singles "Performative Hours" and "Souvenir" from their 2022 album New Ruin. With more than 200,000 monthly listeners and more than 15 million Spotify streams, the Flatliners remain at the forefront of the cultural behemoth that is alternative rock.

  • GOB was amazing!

To be honest, the 3 of us bought the tickets as if GOB were headlining the show, as we're huge fans of GOB since their early days. They were absolutely amazing as expected, and we had a great time. Had never seen nor really heard A Wilhelm Scream's music before, but they were decent. No offence to the Flatliners, but we had a long drive back home way out of town so left after GOB. Totally worth the price of admission.

  • F’ing amazing

by Mr T on 2023-12-12The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

These guys were great. 20 years they’ve been doing it. How the hell has Chris’ voice held up that good. They played 2 of my fav songs I’ve never heard before live. That alone was worth the price of admission.

Lotta fun. Great band whom I'd never seen live before. They were on my bucket list and they did not disappoint. As an added bonus Strike Anywhere were the openers - I did not know that in advance. Also great. Top night

  • Always say “yes” to Flatliners tickets

by MaddyJayne on 2022-12-20The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Yet again, the greatest band puts on the best live performance! Celebrating 20 years, they made sure to play fan favourites from each and every album. Often grouping tracks from the same album together together in the set list as Chris said, “if you liked the last two songs, you’ll love this next one”. These boys never disappoint. 20 years of concerts that leave you on cloud 9 for weeks after. 5/5 highly recommend. Will go again!
