Films are all high quality, most films we viewed this year were average, if not formulaic, with only one or two standouts. I did not leave the festival with the usual stoke or inspiration I normally do.
These films were entertaining and educational. I learned about things I was not aware of and saw things that I would never do(but secretly wish I could). This is our second year attending and we will go again.
I was expecting outdoor adventure/action/activity films, not a bunch of social justice. It's fine to watch the latter, but it should be billed as such. I'm referring to the 40 minute film on forest clear cutting, not sure if that film was balanced, and another film about taking youths camping. The Baffin Island climbing/kayaking and Polish skiers in Pakistan were types of films I came for.
I go every year for the last 20+ years and it's always a great evening. This year I felt it was a bit shorter in length, but just as enjoyable. One year I'm going to win a prizeđ
Had better experiences in the past festivals - better door prizes- emcee missed the mark - i get the chatGPT thing but honestly, he could've personalized it a bit more Some films came in to question as to their qualifications or validity. Some were awesome and some shouldn't have been there at all
I had a great night out. The films were all amazing.

Worst mountain film festival I have ever been too. Politics and woke videos.
