B B and the Legendary Hearts were fantastic. We enjoyed seeing this group as still another version of Barney's musical artists entourage, in addition to the High Bar Gang, Cariboo Express, etc. First time we had reserved seats at the Commodore which was a nice touch! She Stole My Beer were pretty cool and almost enough percussion!
Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts. Super Fun! Sounded as great as 30+ years ago. Makes my heart go, boom boom! 💥
The Commodore is such a great place and definitely something to be said for hearing music in a smaller venue. Easy to get close to the stage and not too overcrowded. We had booked tickets mainly for the guest act which was She Stole my Beer and found out that Barney Bentall had a really good concert for us. Two great rock singer and bands and would see him again for sure.
Barney Bentall and his band were great. The warm-up band, however, was lacking in audience interaction. It’s customary for bands to say something to the audience at the start or between songs or at the end of the set.
Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts at the Commodore...well, what can you say? The show was legendary! Packed with the band's greatest hits, Barney and company pleased the hometown crowd as well as those that travelled from across the country (like me) to catch this reunion of Barney with the Hearts. Superb musicianship, great setlist, but best of all were the joyous faces of everyone in the band, as well as everyone in the audience. One of the best ever Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts shows ever!
Commodore is a great venue for this group and Barney Bentall put on an excellent show. I am looking forward to seeing the Cowboy Junkies in May.
Barney Bentall and She Stole My Beer put on a great show. High energy and rapport with the crowd made it a memorable evening. The Commodore was a perfect venue for these artists.
