Overall a great experience with great anticipation. My first visit to the Elgin Theatre, met with exuberant staff who were most helpful at every turn. Bassem was the tonic that the audience sorely needed that evening. His quick wit and social commentary were spot on. He didn't miss a beat. The excitement from the attendees was most palpable and it truly was exhilarating. Bassem initially booked 2 shows, but due to his international popularity, 3 more shows were added. It was a great evening and given the political climate's intensification over the last year, Bassem put everything into perspective. I look forward to seeing him back in Toronto in the near future. If you do not know who he is, he has several videos available via YouTube, Instagram and other social media platforms. Thank you to the Elgin Theatre and their accommodating staff for making this night, perfect!

Amazing stand-up, with a not a minute of slowing down or dull time, full laughs. Loved the ease of getting the seats, great, affordable prices, and great content. Bassem is a true star, and his shows are amazing!! Wouldn’t have missed it for him, and have to say despite starting late, it was every bit worth it.

Bassem Youssef was topical and very funny and political without being political. He was so relatable and I'm not Arabic speaking or middle eastern. Wish his show was longer.
