Beach Bunny on Tour
Beach Bunny, the indie bedroom pop/rock group known for their melancholic lyrics and pensive melodies, hit the road for a six-month international tour ahead of their July 2022 album Emotional Creature. The four-piece band, created and led by singer/songwriter Lili Trifilio, has a style that draws comparisons to Cavetown, Moon Taxi and mxmtoon, with an acoustically raw and unpolished sound that elicits introspection. Beach Bunny is perhaps best known for their popular single "Prom Queen," off the EP of the same name, and "Cloud 9," which peaked in the Top 20 on Billboard's Alternative Streaming Songs chart and was the lead single for their 2020 debut album Honeymoon. To date, both singles have accumulated more than 220 million streams on Spotify each. The group has also drawn more than 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify and amassed wild popularity for their live performances, selling out large venues with concertgoers praising Trifilio's sharp songwriting and the band's powerful stage presence. See Beach Bunny in a city near you today.
Beach Bunny Live in Concert
Lili Trifilio, a Chicago native, originally wrote many of the early Beach Bunny songs with the intent of having them be solo releases to jump-start her career. Early releases like 2015's Animalism and 2016's Pool Party were unplugged and written with a heavy personal reflection. With the addition of bandmates Anthony Vaccaro on bass, Jon Alvarado on drums and Matt Henkels on guitar, the band found their lane as a grungy indie pop/rock group. Two years later they cut their debut EP as the group we now know as Beach Bunny. "Prom Queen" (both the single and EP) was met with critical praise from the underground scene and caught fire on social media, which led to the group signing with indie label Mom + Pop Music. With a sound that resonated with a large audience, and the infrastructure and support from a label, the group has been on a constant rise ever since. Their 2020 full-length debut release Honeymoon was praised for showcasing that the group had "leveled up" from their aspirations from Prom Queen. Most recently, Beach Bunny has released a handful of singles ahead of their newest release Emotional Creature, including "Fire Escape" and "Oxygen."

I went to the concert in Toronto and I loved it. My first concert. I love beach bunny and all their songs and had a wonderful time. It was really hot tho but I dealt with it. My feet also hurt but that’s something you have to deal with at concerts. 10/10 Will definitely go to another one when they come to Toronto again
My daughter has been a fan of Beach Bunny for a couple of years now and she was very anxious to see them. We travelled down from Montreal to watch their Danforth Music Hall performance and they exceeded our expectations by a very long way. We were very fortunate to meet Lili Trifilio outside the hall prior to the show and she was very gracious. Lili even offered for my daughter to have her picture taken with her, which gave her an amazing memory. The choice and order of the setlist was very well thought out. Opening with "Oxygen" energized the enthusiastic audience and the sixth and seventh songs, "Good Girls" and "Prom Queen", got everyone singing and dancing. Closing with "Cloud 9" and "Painkiller" was simply amazing. Over the years I have seen many concerts by many best selling artists but this performance by Beach Bunny will stand out in my mind as one of the best. To Lili, Jon, Matt and Anthony, thank you for an amazing evening.
Lilli was so amazing and the crowd was very excited, only downside was very very hot and was sweating
beach bunny was amazing they are so talented and the lead singer sounds incredible
The concert venue had a line around the block but it moved fast and the staff were very friendly. The first opener Kai Voss was hard to listen to. The sound mix was chaotic. I couldn't make out a single word. The guitarist was enthusiastic but it just came across as random screeching. The drummer was on point but mixed in too loud. Couldn't wait for it to end. The second opener was Wednesday. They were good but the mix was off again. The guitars were way too loud and the vocals too soft. There was a song where the guitar screeching was so bad I almost had to leave. Beach Bunny enjoyed an amazing mix and gave a great performance. The audience was enthusiastic and the band was rocking out. Would 1000% see them again!
The band was amazing, the singer was also awesome and the crowd was so exuberant. I had so much good. But it was incredibly hot and everyone was sweating buckets.
