Beauty and the Beast has always been my favourite Disney movie. Seeing it as a play was unforgettable! I would recommend it to everyone!
I took my 4 year old daughter to see her fave princess. The show was amazing, I loved the use of stage props and puppets. The singing was fantastic, an all around great show for everyone of any age.
I took my 4 year old daughter, and though it's a Broadway show, it's still supposed to be family friendly. I found it a bit long because of a lot of added songs that weren't in the movie- I would think most adults buying tickets without kids would understand if it were a bit shorter than the average 2.5hr show. It was a bit long and in my opinion, not fully worth the $100/ticket. But should it come back in the $70-80 range I would definitely go for that. My daughter and I loved it, but I had more misgivings and negative thoughts than I've had in most shows. We still had a great afternoon and saw a really lovely show. The singing was outstanding, Belle was just stunning. It was just a bit too long, and a few too many extra songs.
Amazing production, great set design. The woman who played Belle was amazing.
enjoyable, next time would book a balcony seat more room.
This was a wonderful show. Brought back memories of watching the movie with the family. LOVED IT!
Very good show, singing and acting was above average. Set designs were great and imaginative. Scenes were a little disconnected especially the transformation at the end. Missed the big castle chase scene. And missed the traditional revolving staircase. But loved the theatrical vision.
Loved the show. Very well done. Only criticism is that the NAC let people in late who couldn't find their seats and stood in the way. The ushers just let them in then left.
Disney's Beauty and the Best was excellent! I would defintely go and see it again! The cast and orchestra were amazing. Even though this play would typically be geared towards kids, it really wasn't - it's great for the whole family!
I did enjoy the play but expected more out of the actors. I would have like more singing. The stage props were beautiful and the costumes very detailed and pretty.
The first time I saw the musical Beauty and the Beast was 11 years ago with my daughter and mother. My daughter was six at the time. It was a very fond memory for me, especially since my mother is no longer with us. When my daughter heard that Beauty and the Beast was returning to Ottawa, she asked me if we could go and see it again. All she really remembered was how much she enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised and purchased tickets. I am very glad that I did. This production of B&B was as magnificent as the first time. The actress playing Belle was incredible, as was the actor's playing the Beast and Gaston. All the supporting actors were wonderful as well, especially Lumiere and Mrs. Potts. We have been singing B&B songs for two days now. The production was incredible and hopefully we get to see more Broadway musicals in our fair city. The response from the crowd should tell that Ottawa responds very well to these amazing musicals.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The costumes were great, the dancers were fantastic. All the voices were beautiful. I would go back and see anytime. One of the most wonderul shows I have seen in a while

Just recently saw the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast.....my daughter and I really enjoyed the show....it was a great mix that appealed to all age groups.....another great Disney production. our favorite character by far was Gaston's sidekick.....Bravo to the entire cast though for a flawless production

We thought this event was outstanding. The performance was amazing, the colours fantastic, and everything about it was magical. Thank you for the perfect mom & daughter outing.
The sound was great. Acrtors were great. At intermission, we asked an usher if my daughter could meet Belle after the show since she had a drawing for her. The usher went backstage to ask and the stage manager came out to chat with us. She asked Hillary (Belle) if it would be ok that my little meet her after the show. She welcomed us at stage door and that she would look for her personaly. It was a great day!
Beauty and the beast was great we enjoyed becoming young at heart agian! Oh we would be their guest, be their guest again and chip won our hearts!
