Bebel Gilberto Tickets

Let me start by saying I really enjoy Bebel’s voice and music! I did see her years ago at the Mod Club and it was fantastic! She had a great band behind her. This time around she had just a guitar player, a more intimate setting which I didn’t mind. The sound was great, my seats seemed different from the seating chart that I selected, oh well. So there were a couple of times she left the stage and we were all wondering the second time where she went. I find that as an artist/musician, you should never leave your audience guessing. She didn’t have a set list, and she mentioned it a couple times, so she was winging it...I guess she wanted it to feel more of a causal night out. Not a huge deal, but it seemed like she was a bit disorganized. The one last thing is she asked the audience what time it was, like she had somewhere to go. Didn’t understand why she would ask such a question mid way through the night. Overall it was ok. The Mod Club performance to me was much more entertaining. I don’t think I would see her again. I would definitely still continue listening to her music :)

I loved seeing her and I loved her presence on stage...... BUT.... I was disappointed we had to wait until 10pm for her show to start -this is on a monday night-..... and then she was just for about one hour on stage, that's it ! Conclusion: Alex Cuba was a good opening act but could have been shorter.... then the intermission was too long too.... and Bebel's show too short.

I really had a great time during the concert of Bebel. She is amazing, the sound was great!!!! But, the main singer should have been Bebel Gilberto, no Alex from Cuba.He sang more time than Bebel and she only sang one hour, it wasn`t enough for the public that were waiting until 10 pm for listening her. Also, the concert was scheduled at 8 pm., but was moved to 8:30 pm without any advice and excuse, no place to wait inside the theatre while it was really cold outside. The place was nice, but a lot of people were stood up because the didn't offer enough chairs. I think that the organizers should be more professionals. BTW Bebel sang great!!!

Alex Cuba was terrific, although too loud for the venue at times. At least his sound was balanced. Bebel Gilberto's band should take the time to do sound checks before they start playing - the drummer, while fantastic, was so loud that he usually overpowered Bebel's vocals. The whole arrangement came across as being muddied, but that would be partly due to the awful acoustics of the place. It's not a proper sound stage, it's just an old warehouse - nothing more. Lots of places to buy liquor, but hardly any place to sit for a moment. Bebel's voice seemed a bit raspy, but her stage presence and the way she draws you into her songs are remarkable! Singing and acting combined!

I have seen Bebel for the first time 3 years ago and I think the last night show was better! She was amazing and I couldn't believe it when the show was over! And the band! High class!!! Very professional!!!

I went to the concert to see Alex Cuba and was happy to see Bebel as well. In the future, I hope Alex makes it to Toronto for his own show as the people I went to the concert with couldn't get enough of his high energy, entertaining, wonderful sound. It was great to see Bebel as I probably would not have seen her otherwise. Great Venue.

Disappointed in the event. A half full crowd, a very short set, combined witha a lacklustre performance.

I love her voice! the concert was not long enough, the opening act stayed on stage far too long Bebel was only onstage for an hour or so... She didnt do my favorite song Tanto Tempo, but overall she sounded AMAZING!!!!
