    This was definitely one of the better gigs. Well organised, comfy seats, great sound - and of course Hermanos Gutierrez were just as amazing as I expected. Loved this night out. The only thing I didn't love, were the beer prices. $10 for a small can of a Red Truck beer seems a bit crazy.

  • Too Late and Too Loud

    Oh we were quite disappointed with this event - we aren’t concert-goers, as apparently you need to be ‘in the know’ to show up when a concert is actually going to start….(an hour later than advertised). We were expecting a warm act but even he was wrapped up twenty minutes before the main event. Once the concert started we were so annoyed with the delayed start that it took the edge off our enjoyment of the duo (who are incredible) and add to that the amplification was so loud that we left after four songs. I know this description makes me sound like I’m 95, but I’m not, I’m 43.

    This was one of the best concerts ever. Show was fantastic, very meditative, and beautiful. It’s rare to see a show where you can actually feel the gratitude from the performers. Venue was absolutely gorgeous! Worth the trip over the border. 💕

    The Orpheum is such a gorgeous venue and Hermanos Gutttierez played such ethereal music that filled the space beautifully. I loved their humble nature, their simple set reminiscent of the garage they started in and their story of their music being the thing that brought them together. Touching and memorable. Gracias.
