Not What I was expecting
by M.D. on 2022-12-12Fairmount Theatre - MontrealI don’t even know where to start First, when I bought my tickets it was for Best Night Ever (the original) and then, they suddenly changed the theme for Taylor’a version. I thought I’d still give it a shot since I bought tickets and the last time I went to their events it was really cool + The organization told us it would be a mix of Taylor Swift and some other songs grime the 2000’s At the event, the DJ, I don’t remember their name, told us it was 75% TS and 25% everything else, we were so much disappointed at this point but we gave it a shot because we were there At the end of the night, only like 5 songs wasn’t a Taylor Swift one, so we decided to left 15 mins before the end. 1- The vibe wasn’t the same at all as the event from September 2- The DJ took requests for songs to put that night, they never put mines because it wasn’t Taylor BUT they took one that a person next to me showed them, a 10 min long song! So at the end, me and my friend were very disappointed from this even because of all the changes they did. If you like TS, you’ll probably like this but otherwise don’t go if you think you’ll listen to something else during the night
