About

Beyoncé is a multi-hyphenate global entertainer, who is also the Chairwoman of her company, Parkwood Entertainment, and the founder of BeyGOOD Foundation, her philanthropic entity which was established in 2013 and became a 501(c)(3) public charity in 2023. She rose to fame in the ‘90s as a member of Destiny’s Child, the award-winning girl group from her hometown, Houston, Texas. Her solo career, which started in 2003 with her debut album, Dangerously In Love, was the first step in a multi-platinum and record-breaking solo ascension that is constantly innovative and boundary-pushing. Seven albums followed that, all adding to her wins and culture-shifting ways: B’DAY (2006), I Am…Sasha Fierce (2008), 4 (2011) Beyoncé (2013), Lemonade (2016), RENAISSANCE (2022) and COWBOY CARTER (2024). She is also a producer and has released successful films through her Parkwood Entertainment company, including Homecoming for Netflix in 2019 and Black is King for Disney+ in 2020. Today, she has a record-setting 99 Grammy nominations with 35 wins and is the artist with the most wins in Grammy history.

  • Beyonce show was full of energy

    by renee20 on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was good. She put on a good show the last time she was here. She likes to engage the audience. The only problem is it took forever for her to come on stage - it was about 9:20pm.

  • Beyonce was non-stop phenomenal woman!

by PJWaterloo on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

From the minute she walked on the stage to the moment she said good night, it was a fantastic show. She dances non-stop and her voice is impeccable. Highly recommend seeing her if you can catch tickets to her!

  • Beyonce - a diva

by Concertman on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

It is a shame that Ms. Knowles kept her adoring fans waiting or an hour after the pre-condert acts had finished their parts. A little respect and consideration to the people who paid good money to see her and keep her in the manner to which she has become accustomed would go a long way. There were long periods where she was not singing but only dancing. There were long waits for costume changes...sound was of poor quality and hard to make out her words...

  • BEYONCE--Above and BEYOND!

by silbrijul on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

No biased here because I don't own her album...but a true 8.5 out of 10

  • BEYONCE CAN REALLY SING!

by CRICKET on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I took a younger person to this concert, and it wasn't my first pick, however I must admit she really puts on a good performance and is an amazing singer. I didn't like the long wait for her to start and all of the commercialization attached to the concert, but as far as her performance...no complaints.

  • Amazing!

by Ringonit on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

High enegery, she was amazing! would definitely go see her again :)

  • You must not know 'bout me...

    by Schmello14 on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Triple threat. Beyonce can dance, sing, act and look fantastic for the audience. My 12 year old niece and I had a great time. Mostly women audience, everyone was polite and lawn seats are the best at the Molson Amp. Would definitely see Beyonce again and so would my niece.

  • what a performer

    by sunshine55 on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

unbelievable energy and talent everything was 5 star costumes were outstanding

  • Beyonce: I Am what a show!

by Best on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Beyonce as the comsumate performer razzle dazzled the crowd of mostly young people all night long. She has it all: the looks; the voice; the dancing. She gave it all and she included her fans. No hype here. The futuristic set was amazing. Remembering Michael. What a bonus being there for my birthday and having Beyonce singing Happy Birthday. The venue, the perfect night at the lake, you could not ask for anything better. Beyonce is brilliant and a star not too be missed.

  • Best show I have ever seen!

    by Bear72 on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Beyonce can truly sing!! She is one very talented artist! I was not a huge Beyonce fan before but now I am!

  • Beyonce at Molson Ampitheatre

    by jbarry1 on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was really good. She was a bit "teasing" at first by giving us false starts but once she started you forgot. I liked how she played a good mixture of slow and fast songs - she's amazing to see perform - truly a diva (but not a hustler).

  • Beyonce Rocks !

by epord on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I had only heard a few of Beyonce's hit songs on the radio, so to see her live was truely amazing. The energy and authenticity were very real. I could tell that she loved her job Monday night.

  • Amazing, even on the lawn

    by hendes3 on 2009-07-21Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I loved how she tied in some Canadian covers while in Canada, the jumbo screens were so clear I've never seen anything like it! A great mix of old and new music. Very entertaining!

  • You couldn't help but dance!
