    Must See Comedy

by MetallicaDan on 2014-03-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Do yourself a favour and go see Bill Burr next time he's in your city. A comedy great, this was one of my all time favourite comedy shows. I love this kind of raw, honest comedy that Burr has perfected over the years. 3/4 of the way in his set, the crowd was exhausted from laughing so hard and got a bit quiet but after a bit of prompting from Bill Burr, everyone clapped and cheered him on showing him we were still there with him. What a great crowd, what a great show. Opening act Paul Virzi was excellent to get the crowd laughing and ready for Burr; his comedic stylings meshing perfectly with the overall mood of the show.

I'm a big fan of Bill Burr's, I saw him back in September as part of the JFL42 some of his material was the same, but he had some new gems as well. If you like him, check him out, you won't be disappointed.

I have seen a lot of comics over the last year but Bill Burr was definitely the best. His off the cuff the material when an audience member says something was absolutely brilliant. Really has to be one of the best comics working today.

Do whatever you can to see this guy live

by jpower38special on 2014-03-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Bill Burr is one of the best comedians in the game. Paul "Dude I called It" Virzi opened for him and was outstanding. All new material. Saw Bill as part of JFL42 and it was great to see a joke or two that he tried out then matured into a solid bit of comedy. All around great show. It helped we had front row centre seats, but I would have sat in the last row and still enjoyed it. Took pictures with everyone that wanted one after the show. Awesome guy.

    My sides are hurting..

by Loopster on 2014-03-11Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

The show was superb. There were parts of the set where i was literally stomping my feet from all the laughing. Only reason for 4/5 stars is because the mid part was a bit slower, and it kinda affected the dynamics of the set. But first and last thirds were absolutely amazing! Bill Burr really is a master of his trade.

Not sure if it's possible to laugh more!!!

    by Buck16 on 2014-03-10Métropolis - Montreal

I was a huge fan of Bill Burr before going to the show but he has solidified my opinion that he is currently the best comedian out there currently if not ever. As a huge fan of Carlin, Seinfeld and Hedberg I can honestly say Bill Burr takes the best of each comedian by taking real life situations and putting them in their rightful contents, that is, the fact that we are so concerned over things so ridiculous and petty. The point to which he caricatures these situations is epic and his storytelling is the best I've ever heard. All of these points combined to have me in stitches the whole night to the point where my face and abs hurt.
