We had a great time! Great music and entertainers! Mr. chase from 92.3 was a good M.C. He kept us entertained between change overs. The last change over took too long and we didn't get a heads up. We were all pumped up from BBD and their great performance and the ones before them too. The. black street took too long to switch over their stuf before they came on. Black street was good though. Again great music, great dancing, awesome memories! Thank you all!

Teddy Riley and Dave Hollister with the new guys!

by mjs4980 on 2013-07-28River Rock Show Theatre - Vancouver, BC

First of all, Teddy Riley is one of the greatest, most influential producers ever in music. He created a genre in the late '80s: New Jack Swing (bringing soulful R&B vocals together with hard Hip-Hop beats - no one had done that before). Before New Jack Swing, R&B was Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson (slow jams, adult oriented), and Hip-Hop was heavy (Run DMC, LL Cool J, Whodini). R&B and Hip-Hop did not like each other until Teddy RIley put them together. So if you go to a Teddy Riley show with Dave Hollister and Blackstreet music (with new members they like to call BS2), expect a trip back in time featuring Teddy Riley's biggest produced hits! As for the Blackstreet music (BS2), Dave Hollister is still one of the great contemporary voices in R&B music. Although some of the members from the '90s are not in the group anymore, Teddy's music makes this concert worth every penny! If you do not know his music, please do your homework!

Blackstreet and 112 were amazing. couldn't believe how great the show was. Seeing them live and hearing their god given voices was a once in a lifetime experience that brought back so many of my favorite memories.

Overall the concert was ok, but there were some parts that was boring. I don't think it was worth the price.

    Black Street was okay!

by Blackmanmisunderstood on 2013-07-22River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

I enjoyed the show. I did not know that three members had left and there were new ones. Teddy's solo was okay, he seemed to be more concerned about people knowing that he produced 700 songs.
