Blippi The Musical on Stage
Blippi The Musical is a two-act comedy about a boy named Blippi who loves to play in the world while taking his viewers along for the ride. He inspires kids to explore their environment with curiosity and creativity, teaching them about responsibility through song and play. Stevin John is the original creative force behind Blippi, whose energetic, childlike persona is portrayed in thickly framed glasses, a blue button-down shirt, bright orange suspenders, bow tie, and cap to match. John wrote, acted, filmed, edited, produced and shared Blippi's first episodes on YouTube in 2014. The videos quickly became an obsession among kids between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, and the parents who discover Blippi in search of wholesome kids' content on the internet also appreciate John's safe material. The show's popularity amassed billions of view counts as Blippi catapulted into the limelight. John would eventually sign a master toy deal with Jazwares LLC and sell his edu-tainment program to Moonbug Entertainment, who partnered with Virgin Media to distribute the show in the United Kingdom. It's now dubbed in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Arabic, and Hebrew, and the spin-off show, "Blippi's Treehouse," began airing on Amazon Kids+ in 2021. This all-ages extravaganza produced by Round Room Live will feature a dynamic stage actor cast to perform Blippi The Musical on tour, thrilling live audiences nationwide.

by Cathy on 2023-03-11Leon's Centre - KingstonThe show was ok for toddlers, they won't realize the actors on stage are not the real Blippi or Meekah, the actor replacing the TV Blippies looked similar to Stevin, Blippi 1, but the Meekah actress looked nothing like the tv one. I purchased the photo "experience" expecting the my child to sit beside his idol and get a picture, well ... the children are not allowed to approach Blippi and can just waive from 6ft appart and their picture gets taken at a distance. I've seen the Blippi tour website and the ,"experience" on the website is Stevin beside the children for the picture. I totally disapprove of fearfull measures keeping children away from their idol, even when you pay to see him up close. It's been 3 years and the Blippi team is still stuck in the dark ages .

by Great show, but not the real characters :( on 2023-03-09My daughter loved the show, she was engaged and interacted with songs and dances. Not as many 'hit' songs as we thought. She believed Blippi to be the "real" one, although both him and Meekah were "actors". Meekahs character is very obvious that its not her. Overall, good enough show and still worth the money for the experience for my little girl.

And omg worst idea to have a break, I mean performers need to rest but the halls were overcrowded with emotional toddlers and stressed parents, that is when you start doubting it was a good idea. Weird vibes.

by MB on 2022-06-26Paramount Fine Foods Centre - MississaugaThe show wasn’t bad but we think it can be much better, 80% of the show’s songs are relatively new, my girl grew up with Blippi and she learned the songs like Tractors, The boat song, Garbage trucks, fire trucks and of course The excavator song which is the only one (along with the Monster trucks songs) that we knew so that made the show a bit boring at times. The sound wasn’t loud enough so it was hard to hear what Blippi was saying, sometimes we felt lost, and for being for small kids I think they can work on improving engagement with the crowd.

However, was really disappointed to find that there were not any large screens to show a closer view of the stage for those in the back. My son loves Blippi, however couldn't really see the show well from Section 22, so sort of tuned out at times. Would recommend including that as a feature for any show dedicated to young kids.

I am now happy to pay over $80 a ticket and To find out that Blippi wasn’t the real one. The show should not be that expensive for a fake Blippi This should be told to people before booking.

Blippi has so many BIG hit songs, and 75% of the concert was songs that we’ve not seen on Blippi’s show!! Also, the service at Paramount Fine Foods was terrible. Took a half hour to get water and popcorn. The concession stands require MAJOR improvements with speed and service!! They’re not even cooking food- it’s literally serve and go and it takes forever!!
