    Love Bluey but….

by Michelle on 2024-01-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The idea of this was cute and the story was good but it was so short. We thought it was going to be intermission but it was over after 45 minutes. 45 mins for what we paid?!? Also they said they would be playing keepy uppey but it was only for floor seats that they did that and had bubbles. So all the kids on the balconies were really sad and disappointed. Bought our daughter a $35 glow light because she was upset about not playing the game or getting bubbles and it quit working literally an hour after we left. Felt quite disappointed with the whole thing to be honest.

    Just ok

by A Dad on 2024-01-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

It was a good production but only ran about 45 mins. For $280 to take my family that's just way too much. The turnout showed, which was about half capacity.

    great show

by dale on 2024-01-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show was very well done, my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the production. If there's a negative I felt that it was a bit on the short side considering the ticket cost. That said it was a fun show

    Great Show but Too Short

by Momof3 on 2024-01-01Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Really cute show. My kids loved it. It was full of fun tidbits of the show that make you feel nostalgic about the characters and their relationships. I found the show to be great for a wide age group as well as parents. I did feel that the show was too short. It was about 45 minutes long and felt that for the price and the process of getting to the show (we had to drive 1.5 hours). I think if we would have known it was only 45 minutes we may have changed our plans.

    Great show- poor ending

by Calgary family on 2024-01-01Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show was great. Our 5 year old had an incredible time UNTIL at the very end they throw out bubbles and big balloons to the crowd to play with but only if you’re on the floor. Us families up op could only watch in envy, which caused a lot of tears for my little girl. I don’t know if it was a venue limitation (Calgary Jubilee) or a staff problem that they couldn’t get someone up top to throw out balloons but something to improve!

Love the show but very quick

by Ivy on 2024-01-01Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My kids love Bluey. The puppets and the support were amazing. There were some moments I didn’t even realize they were there. They really enjoyed the show. However it was too short based on other live kids shows we watched. The show lasted for about 40-45 min and then 5-10 min of bubbles with giant soft ball passing around the audience. We were all expected an intermission and then another storyline. It would be nice to have the actual length of time of the show in the description.

Cute story, poor venue execution for finale

by Matt from Calgary on 2024-01-01Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My two children (4 and 2) loved the play. The story was a fun rehashing of many bluey episodes. Show was 45 minutes on the dot. Show was poorly scaled for the venue (Jubilee auditorium). Keepy-uppy at the end was only for the floor seats at the front, leaving 80% of the kids despairing and crying as they realized that they wouldn’t be participating in the iconic game. Would struggle to justify attending again.

    Good

by Trish on 2024-01-01Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

It's good, a bit short and pricey tho. Felt bad for the kids sitting on the upper part of the venue, they didn't get the chance to play with the ball and the bubbles.

Good, but disappointing at the end

by Natalia on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The play was really good until the end. There was a "keepy uppy"and a bubble game after it, but we were not able to participate because we were at the second floor. Only those who were on the main floor were able to throw the balls up and touch the bubbles, which was really frustrating to kids in the other levels. We could see the kids' expectation of the balls getting up for them to hit, it was really disappointing.

    Puppetry was very entertaining

by Sophie's Grandma on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Advertisements indicated that the show would be from Noon to 4 o'clock - so when it was finished after one hour, we were dumbfounded. The story should have been wrapped up with the estranged sisters reuniting... Also, one small hand puppet and a twirly light toy for $75 was outrageous!

    Bluey

by Sooz on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Get play. The end where they sent up balls and bubbles was crazy as all the parents stormed the front and were hitting the balls not allowing the kids to get them. It was so overwhelming for the kids. Ask people to stay in their seats.

    Kids loved it

by Chili on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show was cute. The kids seemed to have loved it. I thought it would be better if the characters wore full costumes instead of doing ventriloquist style and weren’t wearing bright green jumpsuits that stood out. The keepy Uppy game at the end was fun for the kids.

    Good but….

by Gram on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Good but thought the characters would be “within” the characters not externally moving the characters - distracting. The balloons post performance were great! Very expensive given the above and length of the show.

    Excellent, except for one thing

by KMom on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show was great. Puppeteers did all they could to make the characters come to life. So many elements that are from the show that we love. Plus a great new story to enjoy. Only complaint, we sat on the balcony, and the keepy uppy game at the end was only done with the floor level. This turned the end quite sour for my four year old.

    Fantastic

by Candice on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

It was a performance my child will remember for a life time with interactive opportunities and joyous preformers. Parents do not underestimate the pitch of scream a room of small children can have and wear earplugs.

    The best!

by Mum on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Such a great show, short enough so littles didn’t get restless but long enough for us all to enjoy.

    Awesome.

by Grandma P on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My grandkids loved it. They smiled through the whole show. I wish we had sat on the main floor so they could've participated in the interactive things at the end. My bad. Otherwise, it was great.

    Too Short

by Yo Mama on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show was cute but not much action and only 5 characters (and some birds). It was about 40 minutes long which felt really short given the cost of it all. About 7 min of that was bubbles and balls at the end. I would not go to this show again.

    Too short

by AH on 2023-12-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We took our two granddaughters. Yhey were very disappointed when the show finished after about 40 minutes. The short duration was not reflected in the price.
