    Mediocre show

by Mellster on 2016-11-14Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

The opening act was great! However, Bob was not as much. Jokes were not so funny and near the end a lot of people were just leaving. Not worth the ticket price that is for sure.

    Just terrible

by Jambo888 on 2016-11-14Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

I can't believe I wasted money for this. All the great reviews I heard it was awful!!! First 10-15 mins not bad, then the same old jokes over and over and he repeated them 5-10 times. Then he started playing a guitar and singing which wasn't funny at all. Ppl all over left early and kept saying what a waste. Dont bother

    Bob Saget

    by marie69 on 2014-10-01Deerfoot Inn & Casino - Calgary

I was very disappointed with his show. I was looking forward to seeing him, as they say he is crude, and very funny. I found him to be neither. He seemed to get distracted easily by the crowd. He was unable to finish jokes and would go off track more then once, and then he tried to come back to the joke, but it was too late. It was not funny at all. I have seen a lot of comedians at the Deerfoot Casino and i have to say he was the worst.

opening comedian was great, Bob was distracted

by chefprettyblueeyes on 2014-10-01Deerfoot Inn & Casino - Calgary

The opening act was Trent McCollan. He was funny, a true Canadian comedian. Then Bob Saget started and he seemed a bit distracted from the audience, his own jokes and his delievery was a bit hard to follow. He warmed up and there were some "laugh till I cried" moments. He involved the audience which was fun and I'm glad i didn't sit close or be a drunk idiot and yell out. He brought out his guitar and sang some songs which were quite funny. all and all it was good and I'm glad i went. I'm not to sure if i would go again. It was hard to tell if the jokes he was telling were 15 year old jokes or not.

Bob Saget was not good, I was disappointed

    by bernard2 on 2014-09-30Deerfoot Inn & Casino - Calgary

we had purchased tickets in way in advance as we heard he was supposed to be "so offside" we looked forward to it for months. We were not made aware that you had to arrive to get wrist bands for seating (2.5 hours ahead of the event) The opening comedian was WAY funnier, we wished he would have stayed on stage. I don't know, maybe he had an off night, I know that can happen. But we won't buy a ticket to see him again. I gave it two stars because the opening comedian was fantastic. If it was just Bob Saget I would give it less than one star.

Bob Saget straight up robbed us of our money

by LindsML on 2014-09-27River Cree Casino - Edmonton

I dont even know how to describe to you how terrible he was, its hard to put it into words. He had no material, all he did was ramble and name drop and talk about full house like a wash up. I cant believe we actually payed for this garbage, what an epic waste of time and money. We left halfway through along with half of the crowd. The only reason I wanted to stay until the end was to boo him. I dont know how he can get away with this it should be criminal. For a better idea of how bad he was check out the american ticketmaster reviews for him, there is over 300.

    Saget is horrible!

by Messman on 2013-07-23Bowery Ballroom - New York

First of all the opening act was amazing- a kid named Mike Young from Detroit. Some of the funniest stand-up I have heard in a long time. Then came Saget who went on to talk about diarrhea for half the show....if I was eight maybe it would have been funny. Then he grabbed his guitar and tried to be Adam Sandler, which he wasn't. He was aweful.

    BOB SAGET!!!

by DaveCoulier on 2013-03-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Awesome show over all and a really great opening act - can't remember his name though. Bob is a fantastic, professional entertainer. He grabs the audience at his liking and holds on to you the entire way through his set, even when idiot heclers try to include themselves in his act. His mix of old and new material made a great set for audience members that have or have not seen his set before. I only wish he could have gone on for another 20 minutes. After the show, when almost everyone had left the venue and the parking lot was almost empty, Bob came out to his car, he stopped and talked with a bunch of us. It was just simple conversation, no one asked him to do any bits or tell jokes, he just brought us all together for that brief amount of time before thanking and shaking each of our hands and driving off. It was a surprising and amazing way to end the night. I look forward to Bob's next visit to Toronto.

    nothing special

by timetoretire on 2013-02-20Queen Elizabeth Building - Toronto

Material was old and not that funny. Only so many crude full house jokes you can make. Felt like people were just laughing only because it was Bob Saget and you were supposed to. Not really worth the price of admission.

    Wet Spots Kill Show

by RJVAN1 on 2013-02-18The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

While the majority of the comedians on the bill were very funny, the act that closed the show was terrible. The humour was juvenile, and their delivery was ineffective. The fact that a good portion of the audience started booing them midway through their set was an indication that I was not alone in my opinions. It looked like Bob Saget wanted to bring out all of the performers for a curtain call at the end, but could not do so, because of the negative audience reaction to the final act. It did not help that the woman sang "this has not happened to us before in our performances around the world" as a verse in the final song, which seemed to further irritate the audience. All in all - Bob Saget B+, other comedians A-, Wet Spots F!

    Saget was great

by ComedyFanInVan on 2013-02-17The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

So when this show was first advertised, they said it was going to be a Bob Saget show. Then about a month after I purchased my tickets, they started saying it was an event hosted by Bob Saget. Misleading advertising at first, but I'm game to hear some new comedy. Saget's material was great as usual. The other comics were just alright. Nothing overly great. The last act, The Wet Spots were horrible. They got booed off the stage thankfully.

Bob Saget Nasty Valentine show was mainly crappy

by LaurieMc on 2013-02-17The Centre In Vancouver For Performing Arts - Vancouver

Bob Saget hosted a show of 6 other comedians. 3 of the 6 acts were good-to-great, but unfortunately they were primarily the first half of the show. The second half was AWFUL (especially the Wet Spots who pretty much got boo'd off the stage to end the evening on a low) and Bob himself, well, the material was just too practiced and repetitive and predictable (not clever). So it was "okay" but we had been expecting something much more.

    Bob Saget

by lizard75 on 2012-01-23River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

My husband and I really enjoy Bob's humour. I'm unsure as to what some people were expecting but don't think they knew about his raunchy and vulgar humour. I would recommend this should to anyone who appreciates this type of humour. The hecklers were a little annoying but I suppose to be expected.

Have mixed views on this as he was very funny, BUT

by Kaap on 2012-01-23River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

Thought Bob Saget was pretty hilarious and was raunchy, which we like, but he did a lot of old material from 4 or 5 years ago. A few people started shouting at him, so he worked them into his act. Some of it was pretty funny, but after awhile more people joined in and it got old pretty fast, as we came to hear him the whole evening. An opening comedian came out (15 minutes late) and sorry, I can't remember his name, but he was quite good, then Bob Saget came out at 8:45. When Bob Saget finished, I looked at my watch and realized he had only performed for 1 hour, until 9:45. Fans pay good money to see an act, and the least they can do is be there for more than an hour! Therefore, I liked him (funny), but didn't at the same time.
