About

BROODS IN CONCERT:

New Zealand's hottest new duo Broods are making a name for themselves in 2014 with the catchy electronic tunes of their eponymous debut EP. Although they just started playing shows under the moniker, the brother-sister duo's performances are mature and effortless as lead singer Georgia Nott sings hits like "Bridges" over her brother's pulsing beats and backing vocals. They'll leave fans wanting more as they hit the road for a string of highly anticipated tour dates, sharing the bill with Meg Meyers, Strange Talk, and Ellie Goulding.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Siblings Georgia and Caleb Nott got their start performing together as teenagers, realizing they both wanted to pursue music full-time after dropping out of college in 2013. The duo worked with producer Joel Little (Lorde) on their self-titled EP, which was released in 2014 and has since generated major buzz around the band's music. Their hit single "Bridges" debuted at No. 8 on the New Zealand single charts and was certified gold, and their rich, pop-infused music is sure to make them an electro-pop sensation soon enough. Broods are on the road in 2014 for a string of highly anticipated shows, ready to perform their hits for fans lucky enough to get in early on a good thing.

    Broods Never Disappoint!

by BroodsFan on 2017-07-03The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

It was my second time seeing this sibling duo live and it's been such an honour and privilege to watch them perform live. They bring so much energy to the stage and know how to get the crowd going. It's no wonder they've already performed at Coachella and other world-renowned music events. They're definitely not ones to miss, if you ever come across the opportunity!

    Amazing Performance!

They did a really good job, she was amazing at singing. I could literally feel all of the emotion coming from her while she was singing at certain points during the performance. **Nothing to do with the review, but uploading video is taking too long lol**

Broods always put on a great show. I saw them 2 years ago at the same venue, and I can say that you can really see how much they've grown as artists - a tighter performance, more confident, better sound, better staging. The entire show was incredible! I loved their last concert and this one did not disappoint in any way. Georgia is front and centre, sounding better than ever. Caleb seems to be happy making music in the shadows. A special moment in the show came around the midpoint when Georgia and Caleb sat on stools for a 3 song acoustic set. They sounded incredible, and it showed how strong their music is in it's most raw and basic form before they add all the magical layers that give them the unique Broods sound. The concert definitely shouldn't be missed by fans, but people unfamiliar with the band will probably enjoy it just as much!

    Broods is amazing live

by Sdxbb on 2017-06-03The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Simply blown away with not one dull moment. Asides from a song or two where they sat down on stools and Caleb played guitar it was full out crazy and it was, as their song goes... L.A.F. Expect all the favs turned up several notches, great stage presence and energy until the bitter end. Closing with the happy "couldn't believe" was a great choice though, and having Michl open put me in a great mood!

So worth it to see Broods in live version

by Broody on 2017-06-03The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I really enjoyed the show, it was at The Danforth GA and the floor was a little bit incline so we could see perfectly the band even if taller people were in front of us.
