    Great band with great scenic presence and lots of gods songs but the general acoustic was pretty bad: at time all you could ear was the drum kick and the bass guitar…. WAY too much low end!! After an hour I had enough and left….

    The band, Boy & Bear, was great and the members were engaging with the audience, which made the whole thing even better. The opener, Boo Seeka was also really good. I definitely recommend seeing them live, they all sound the same, if not even better, than the studio recordings. Lots of love from Montreal.

    Je m'attendais à un spectacle honnête sans plus. Ils m'ont fait mentir avec une prestation remarquable. Pas de grosse techno, d'artifices ou de show-off musical qui prennent le dessus sur la musique, il n'y a eu que des chansons superbement interprétées.

    My second time seeing Boy & Bear at The Gateway this year! When I saw them earlier, Harlequin Dream had just been released and I was missing the folk-tinged songs from the first album. However, with time the album has become essential listening for me and likely eclipses the first album. The songs tonight we performed impeccably. A great evening out!
