About

Bruce Dickinson is lead singer of Iron Maiden, debuting on the band’s third album, 1982’s The Number of the Beast. He quit Maiden in the 1990’s to pursue a solo career, recording five studio albums, 2 of them featuring fellow Maiden bandmate Adrian Smith, and 3 in collaboration with guitarist & producer Roy Z. After re-joining Maiden in 1999 Dickinson recorded a further solo album with Roy Z - 2005’s Tyranny Of Souls. Alongside Maiden activities, Dickinson is an airline captain, aviation entrepreneur, beer brewer, motivational speaker, podcaster, film scriptwriter, New York Times best-selling author, radio presenter, TV actor, sports commentator and international fencer. He has lately been touring the world with his spoken word show An Evening With Bruce Dickinson telling anecdotes about his life and career in Maiden and featuring an improvised Q&A session. The band released their 17th studio album Senjutsu in Sept 2021 and will be continuing their Legacy Of The Beast tour in 2022.

    What a great night!

    by H. D. on 2022-03-29Algonquin Commons Theatre - Ottawa

What a great entertainer he is!!! What a fabulous night! I have rarely seen someone who can take a crowd in the palm of their hand like he does! I had read his book but hearing the stories from the horse's mouth was 1000 times better!!! Can't wait to see him again in October but with Iron Maiden this time!

    Pleasantly surprised

by Eric on 2022-03-29Algonquin Commons Theatre - Ottawa

Bruce is such a natural entertainer and that was on full display. He is extremely funny and engaging and stays on stage long enough to make it well worth the ticket.

    Great event, NO SIGNED BOOK

by MaidenFan117 on 2019-11-27Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Bruce Dickinson is a great speaker and his event was great. However, the promotional information for this event mentioned that a signed book was included in the ticket, which we didn't receive.

    An Evening with Bruce Dickinson

by Kim S from Barrie on 2019-11-26Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Bruce Dickinson was very entertaining and the show was 2 & 1/2 hours long. Well worth the money, and the venue was small enough that I think everyone had a good view of him, and the sound was good. He shared some interesting stories about his life from when he was a child, right up to what he's doing now at 61 - he does alot of different things. And, the last 45 minutes was a Q&A session, which was interesting. Overall, a great show. My husband has never been to an Iron Maiden concert, and was on the fence about going, but despite not having any knowledge of the band or Bruce, he also really enjoyed it. Good night out - especially for fans!

    A man and his story

Entertaining from start to finish. Certainly some confusion over the autographed booked that was advertised but did not materialize

Almost 3 hours if non stop engaging humour. Bruce from the "scary" metal and is smart , engaging, humorous and one hell of great story teller!

False advertising for signed book, but event itself was good

by VoltageDrop on 2019-11-26Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

The advertising leading up to the event specified that a signed book would be included, however no books were provided at all and there weren't even any for purchase at the event. Live Nation/Ticketmaster have quietly deleted almost all mentions of the book and ignoring people's complaints about it. Otherwise the show was great, Bruce spoke for about 2.5 hours and was thoroughly entertaining the entire time!

Bruce was good, Venue terrible. No autographed book promised

by MT2019 on 2019-11-26Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Bruce had some entertaining stories from his life but the venue was terrible. Seats were extremely cramped with no leg room and the building was filthy. No one received the promised autographed copy of Bruce's book. Overall, quite a disappointment after a long drive.

    5 stars

    by C. M. on 2019-11-26Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto

Bruce Dickinson is a man that has done so much with his life and he just keeps going. He inspired me just listening to him for the show he put on in Toronto. He was funny and tells the funniest stories ever. I had to use the bathroom and didn’t go cause I didn’t want to miss anything he said. The end of the show was incredible showing us how real his voice is. His voice was so amazing proving to us that he doesn’t use all these computers that mess with his voice. His voice is real and so clear. Bruce Dickinson is a person that will inspire you and when you leave his show , you will say what a great night you had. Thanks Bruce.
