Onr of the greatest performances i have seen in a cery long time. A true legend.
The people at the Casino were very nice and helpful. The Show, we knew it was going to be great and it was. We love Buddy.Old friend.
This was the 2nd time I see Buddy Guy and he was truly amazing both times. He is a true entertainer. I would go see him again.
He's 83 years old amd STILL played for 1.5 hours, humping and grooving like always, proving he's one of the best ever! Great show, great sound so kudos to the sound crew! Great night at a sold out show
Great show. Great audience(well behaved)lol! Very entertaining. Very funny guy. Could have played at least 2 more songs though. But overall, a great time! I would definetly see him again. 10/10!
Buddy Guy's band is outstanding. Keyboardist and lead guitar were showcased and rightly so, these guys were simply amazing. Now as for Buddy himself, hasn't lost a thing when it comes to vocals, his range was really something.....but way too much talking and interaction with the audience. When I attend a concert, I'm there for the music. I felt that the little guitar tricks were a waste of concert time. I mean the guy is up there in age and maybe stretching out these small tricks gives him a chance to recharge vocally, I really don't know. I am a huge "blues" fan and would've liked more music than talking. Also although the audience was very vocal, we did not get an "encore" instead while the audience is showing their enthusiasm Buddy walked the length of the stage signing autographs and walked off.
Just an excellent gig all round. I will go back to see Buddy Guy anytime
The venue, Casino Rama was great and we had good seats. Buddy Guy is 83 years old now and although he was somewhat entertaining with his many stories and jokes the performance was lacking much in actual guitar playing. Mostly joke filler and Buddy Guy taking a very long walk through the audience. He did sing a fair bit but both he and the band did not deliver in the guitar department.
Buddy commands the audience's attention with his powerful voice, incredible storytelling and of course his wicked guitar playing. The rest of the band was also very impressive. Must see if you are a fan of the blues or rock and roll!
Excellent band with Buddy. Will see him again in Montreal Jazz festival.
Buddy Guy sounded and played like men decades younger than his 81 years. Interacted with the crowd and near the end came into the audience with his guitar and was literally 10 feet from me that night. A lot of fun and great music.
A great show by a classic bluesman. Always entertaining, a perfect evening of music under the stars !!
Words cannot t describe how amazingly talented these musicians are!!
Both bands were terrific! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening!
I have seen BG three times now, he just keeps getting better!!!
Johnny Lang opened with a hot steamy & expressive set. An excellent choice to pave the road for Buddy Guy who, consummate professional that he is, broke a string right off the top & smoothly continued with an engaging show. We LOVE HIM!!
If you like the blues at all, then seeing Buddy Guy is a must! As one of the last of the originals, he is amazing to see in person. He is funny, gracious and wickedly talented!
Great show Was upgraded from 400 to 200 section sweet
Buddy Guy is so entertaining and talented. His band is incredible! This is the second time I've seen him this year. Thanks, Buddy for coming to Toronto. We LOVe You. AND yes, we mean it.
