Thank you Burton Cummings and band members for a great experience. It was memorable and worth all the effort to see a legend.
Love the music. Will definitely see him again given the chance.
Concert was awesome! We all had a great time. I love the venue. The only complaint of the evening is with Ticketmaster logging me out when in line to go inside and having me reset my password then of all times so all 4 of us had to leave the line to go do that before going inside.
Wonderful concert. He sang like he did back in the late 90s when I seen him. Had the audience on their feet many times and knew all his songs except the most recent one he wrote. At 77, he can still rock ‘n roll.
I had VIP tickets so I got to meet him after the show. I saw him in 1979 (Moncton), mid 80's and 1997 (Saint John), 2000 (Saint John with the real Guess Who) and in 2014 (Charlottetown). As each performance was seen and enjoyed there was a redefining of his talent. Despite being slowed down by age he was very open and personal as he looked back on his career. He had an optimistic outlook, very modest and kind (during the meet & greet). His performance was slowed a bit but he surrounded himself with excellent band mates to recreate that journey through the decades. Certainly he was and still is Canada's father of Rock'n'roll. He's our King, like the other guy south of us.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but after 50 + years Burton still has what it takes to entertain a crowd. We thoroughly enjoyed the show.
This was, by far, the best show I've ever seen! Burton Cummings an absolute force of nature! The whole group just clicks so well and sounded amazing!
He was great. They were all amazing. It was a great venue to see them.
Saw Burton and his band perform at the Grey Eagle casino in Calgary on Sunday November 3rd. It would seem the venue is where all the old classic bands go to play and surprisingly for most of the shows I have experienced there, the acoustics are not too bad. Certainly beats the Saddledome and a lot of the old rockers wouldn't have enough of us boomers to fill the hockey arena anymore. We were lucky to see him, as I saw a post on social media indicating he took a spill as he exited the stage a couple evenings before in Edmonton at the River Cree Casino there. Well he was in fine form behind the piano and even did a couple numbers at the end on guitar. He performed a mix of his solo songs and the Guess Who's hits and reminded us that him and Randy successfully won their legal battle to resume the band name from the alleged tribute band who has been performing and releasing new albums as the Guess Who. Opened his set with no intermission with Bus Driver and ended it with an audience sing-a-long to Share the Land. It was a solid two hour performance with great delivery. Wish the geriatric crowd would've been a little more lively but everyone remaining seated, and respectful to what must have been Burton's request to not take any pictures or video. A first for me and while I appreciate staying in the moment and not blocking other people's views with your phone held up high, it is nice to have a couple captures as a souvenir at this age, as digital tickets just don't have the same magic as looking back at all the shows I was graced to see throughout my life. My only criticism is he played only a single tune from his new release which came out in September. I think he missed an opportunity to showcase his new material with an audience that demonstrated they still appreciate the iconic old songs that shaped our youth but would have also likely enjoyed hearing his latest creativity from A Few Good Moments. Maybe he's reserving that for his 61st year of entertaining us. I sure hope so.
I have been a huge fan of Burton since the 80's, this was my 6th show and hopefully not the last. Burton is such a natural entertainer, he played all my favourite hits. Stand Tall.
Great show by Burton and his band. He is a true professional. Very impressed with the OLG theatre.
We were pleased to see one of my all-time favourite Canadian artists, who doesn't seem to have lost a step after all these years. The selection of songs varied across the styles he has presented throughout his career. The band was tight and really seemed to enjoy working together. I would definitely rebook a concert should he choose to return to my area.
It was a good show enjoyed by all, brings back good memories , thanks for all the good times.
Burton Cummings always puts on a very good show. Doesn't disappoint. Always sings the songs we all come to hear.
My first experience at OLG Stage was one I won't forget...a night with Burton Cummings! The seats were great, the sound was amazing and the great tunes went on for nearly two hours! Thank you for an amazing walk down memory lane and a great new memory at OLg Stage
It was an experience of a lifetime. I would go again in a he was amazing. Had the privilege to meet him. And you were such a gentleman glad I went. Definitely would go again
The show was good, but Burton is getting older and his voice is not what it used to be. I still enjoyed the show. I was very disappointed that we could not use our phones to take pictures or videos. Never heard of this before. I spent $280.00 on 2 tickets and can't take pictures. Why?
Burton did a great job as usual. He is an all star performer. I have seen him dozens of times since 1973 and he always puts on a great show.
Even after 50 years + of performing Burton still has it. Joy to watch all the audience in Walkers singing along.
