BLUE RODEO IN CONCERT:
Canadian roots rock mainstay Blue Rodeo has been sending fans "Head Over Heels" with their country-tinged sound and lighters-in-the-air concerts for more than three decades. The group has won a dozen Juno Awards in their home country, and they've earned a global fanbase with their approachable sound and unforgettable live performances. They've been called one of Canada's best live bands, and it's easy to see why as co-vocalists Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor tag team anthemic favorites like "Lost Together" and "5 Days in May". Fans looking to catch up with with these veteran rockers won't want to miss them any time they perform favorites from their decade-spanning discography on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Blue Rodeo was formed in the early '80s by Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, two Toronto high school buddies who started playing music together after graduating. Following a stint in New York they returned to Canada and put together a band, and in 1985 Blue Rodeo played their first show at The Rivoli in Toronto. After two years of performing and honing their sound, the group released their 1987 debut album Outskirts to a Top 20 spot on the Canadian charts. A steady string of popular singles and albums followed in the late '80s and '90s, including country chart-toppers like "Try" and "Til I Am Myself Again". Their success continued in the '00s with no less than five Top 10 albums on the Canadian Albums Chart and a star on Canada's Walk of Fame. Over the course of 13 albums Blue Rodeo has won a whopping 12 Juno Awards, and they continue to impress with their time-honored sound and undeniable onstage chemistry every time they tour.

Always an amazing show! Blue Rodeo never disappoints
The only thing better than the Blue Rodeo show at CNE time is BR w/Matt Mays!!!! AMAZING! Absolutely beautiful night and wicked concert.
What a treat to see BR with a big audience! I saw them most recently at Massey Hall last year (?), and even though this show was a big, outdoor venue, it had most of the intimacy and charm. Every solo demonstrated real musicianship. I won't forget this show for the rest of my years.
Only good things to say about the venue and Blue Rodeo. But still seething for having to pay $25 for a beverage that costs $3.85 at LCBO. One expects to pay higher at these venues but 700%?!
That Blue Rodeo band is alright.A wonderful evening filled with Canadian Classics and nice guitars
Blue Rodeo opened with a few minutes of instrumental that the entire venue didn’t know. Oddest thing. It was a popular song but the added instrumental didn’t add to the vibe they were looking for. Each song they added instrumental which I wasn’t a fan. Although the band seemed to like doing it.
Blue Rodeo were great, as always. We go every year. Getting out of the venue, however, was awful. So many people funnelling out of one exit and bridge to CNE. God help us if there was ever an emergency. Don’t think I’ll return to Budweiser Stage for a while. Will see Blue Rodeo at another venue.
Love the Band....Hated the venue....Molson Amphitheatre is the worst.
Blue Rodeo was great ! 'Talented; totally giving to their audience, the performance was spectacular ! The venue, Budweiser Stage, beautifully delivered the quality support levels to make everything work in harmonious excellence !
