This show was AMAZING. The venue was perfect. I have been a fan for over 30 years, and I was pleasantly surprized to hear that his voice has not wavered over the years.
Really enjoyed the show but was disappointed that none of his new songs were performed.
Burton Cummings himself was great but the Bass was way TOO LOUD!!!!!! It drowned out Burton's WONDERFUL VOICE and his majestic piano keyboard. There was no need to have it so loud in a Theater with great acoustics. I would of liked to hear more of his own songs. He played too many Guess Who songs. It was his night, not a Bachman/Cummings concert.
couldn't believe how much energy he still has - and his voice was still excellent. great show.

Burton Cummings is terrific performer who has a connection with his fans. This man is the real deal. At 60+ years of age he still has a blast playing and entertaining and his voice is fantastic. He is a real guy who thanks his fans at every opportunity for helping him achieve what success he has.
I thought it was an awesome venue and would go to another concert there for sure and Burton put on an amazing performance! Boy can that man sing!
I went to the concert at the Riverrock casino last night. Burton was absolutely amazing. He still sings as good as he did in the Guess Who days. His piano skills are unforgettable. If you get a chance, go see him live, what a show!
burton and the band were excellent --the songs brought back fond memories - cant wait til he returns to play in vancouver no matter where the venue is --
My lady and I loved the show. Burton still has the musical chops after all of these years.The choice of songs was excellent with lots of good old rock and roll mixed in with some of his best ballads. The 2 hours plus of non-stop entertainment had you bopping in your seats or as many did , down in front of the stage. Burton's backup group were also extremely talented. The audience gave Burton and the group 2 standing ovations.
Awesome show, Burton is a consummate showman. Only question is - why was it only open to fans 19 and over? My son is 14, he would have loved the show
We absolutely enjoyed the show last night at the River Rock Theatre. As an old Winnipegger, I have been a Cummings fan since he was a member of the local group, The Devrons, at local community club dances. He is such a fabulous songwriter and performer, but has a down to earth approach to his show. The two hours were over before we knew it and everyone was sorry that it was time to leave. I was appaulled that the theatre staff allowed people to stand and dance (I use the term loosely) at the stagefront during the show! I found it to be very distracting and if I had been seated in the front seats and had these idiots girating right in front of my face, I would have been livid!! There is a time and a place for everything and a venue like the theatre at the River Rock should not have a mosh-pit. I would be wary of where to sit in the theatre for future events if I thought that this kind of behavior was going to be tolerated by theatre staff!
We have gone to see Burton Cummings the last 5 times he was here, he puts on a fabulous show, we will continue to go see him everytime he comes. Love his music and he has a fabulours voice
Enjoyable show with all the oldies I remember from my youth.
Great show. Voice was strong, sound was great. Band was pretty good.Told some good stories. Played for 2 hours which was unexpected as most shows have only been 90 minutes
when someone truly has passion for what they do and a genuine talent for music how can one not be completely entertained by what we saw last night. Burton Cummings is an icon and we want to thank him for a great night.
I enjoyed listening my favorite songs from The Guess Who as well as Burtons solo career, singin alone and dancing. Burton is in very good shape and sings perfectly. If he will be back again I will go to se and listen him again.
Two hours of nonstop Burton Cummimgs! His love of music, his energy and enthusiasm have not waned! Fellow musicians are a great compliment!
I wondered why people were not putting song requests on the stage but Burton and the band sang all the great songs. His voice was strong, he was funny and the band was so tight. Thanks for a fabulous night!
Burton plays and sings like he was still 25 yrs old. His energy is endless and he puts so much into his performance that I felt transported back to my rock n roll party days .His concerts are full of hits from my youth that I've never grown tired of and neither had the audience judging by the thunderous applause. His band is highly talented and plays passionately and powerfully. Hit after hit all night long with no breaks. Burton rocks and gives you your moneys worth as long as you can buy your tickets at Ticketmaster and not the outrageously inflated prices on TicketExchange.
