About

After three decades, well over 24 million records sold, a GRAMMY Award nomination, 1 billion streams, and a procession of #1 hits, BUSH stand tall as rock outliers whose imprint only widens as the years pass. Turn on rock radio, and it won't be long before you hear "Glycerine" or "Machinehead." On the big screen, their music courses through blockbuster franchises such as John Wick. On the road, they regularly pack amphitheaters and ignite festival stages. In 1994, the group delivered their seminal debut, Sixteen Stone. It notably achieved a six-times platinum certification, remaining a pillar of modern rock. Rolling Stone cited it among "1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative's Greatest Year," while Stereogum exclaimed, "It feels like music untethered from time, separate from its history." The triple-platinum follow-up, Razorblade Suitcase, bowed at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and boasted "Swallowed," which garnered a GRAMMY Award nomination in the category of "Best Hard Rock Performance." Their catalog spans the platinum The Science of Things [1999] through The Kingdom [2020], which arrived to acclaim highlighted by "Flowers On A Grave" and "Bullet Holes." As indefatigable as ever, the band released its ninth full-length offering, The Art of Survival [BMG] in late 2022. Thus far, they have notched 25 straight Top 40 hits on the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts, earning six #1 entries. This Fall, the band is releasing their first ever career retrospective, Loaded: The Greatest Hits 1994-2023.

This is my second time seeing Bush in Toronto. They still have it! Gavin will make his way through the audience. The venue was stellar! So clean, staff were very friendly. They thought of everything when they designed it. Parking in green P was only $3.

Toronto, History, February 9, 2023. Gavin was amazing. Told him my story at the meet and greet prior to the concert and many tears/hugs were had. He then hugged me stageside mid song, along with talking about me before playing my favorite song. Even posted an Instagram about me. Also go a very personal note written from him. Am still in shock this all really happened. Forever grateful 💗 Concert was fantastic ❤️

  • EPIC Show

by 1ManArmy on 2019-09-11Meadow Brook Amphitheatre - Rochester HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Bush was awesome. Gavin had lots of energy, wish they played a few more of their hits though. Live was great too, Ed interacted with the crowd tons and the covers they played were awesome. But Our Lady Peace stole the show, Raine and the boys were amazing, just wished they had more time and a longer setlist. Would love to see all 3 together again at some point. Ps. Great Crowd too!!!

The show was amazing. But that is a given with Bush. Great smaller venue, which makes for a better show. Its more personal and the sound is better. Can't wait to go to another bush show.

When the lead singer runs around the entire crowd so everyone can get a good Glimpse and a handshake that makes for the best concert!! Great music and amazing energy by the lead singer :-)

Worst concert ever. Could barely hear the vocals and when it was clear, very weak and off key.

One of the best rock concerts I've ever been to. Venue was the perfect size, we could see the stage perfectly from the lawn seats we had, but were extatic when we got moved into the pavilion. Gavin interracted well with the crowd, running up into the crowd just a few rows ahead of us, stopping to take pictures with fans, all the while still singing. The band sounded the exact same live as radioplay. Chevelle put on a fantastic show as well. wasn't crazy about the opening act, the Dead Deads but all in all, the show was more than 5 stars. Would go see bush again in a heart beat and thoroughly enjoyed Chevelle for only knowing one song.

  • Bush @ Sound Academy

It was excellent, I have seen hundreds of concerts. Gavin really puts on a great show with the guys . Nice blend of his old stuff and new. You really got to appreciate seeing a band from the 90's with so few quality acts out there now. If you are in a town where bush is playing at a upcoming event don't miss seeing them. Great party atmosphere. ticket prices where very reasonable.
