    Calliou was disappointing.

by BabyBoo on 2010-12-07Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Sound in the Sony Center was very average. The show ere was short with a long intermission. Characters were good and my son enjoyed it but the show could have been better. Also would suggest having more than 1 merchandise area.

    not worth the money!!

by Evan456 on 2010-12-07Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Overall the performance was not worth the money!! Plot was thin and show time was short. Plot was overly simple and not too much happened. Sets were just ok, could have been improved on. Would not go again, not worth the effort!!!!!

    Caillou was disappointing

by MainK on 2010-12-07Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I was honestly disappointed with the show. The performance started late and did not capture the children's attention like kids' shows need to. The narrator was sometimes hard to hear and understand. Either it was her mic or her vocalization. the intermission was a little too long so it was hard to settle the children down again. It added to what already felt like a really long show.

    Caillou

by Bumbolina on 2010-12-06Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

First of all it wasn't on ice!!! Secondly not all the characters were in it. It started late too. The only reason I rated it highly is because my daughter enjoyed it so much....and really that's all the matters.

    Complain

by Verok on 2010-12-06Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

We bought the tickets in August for the CAILLOU'S GREATEST SKATE OF ALL. We were Daddy, my daughter and I. When I bought the tickets it didn't say that kids of 2 years old have to pay for a ticket, either special on arms ticket. When we arrived to the Sony Centre in the entrance they told us we had to buy an "on arms" ticket for my daughter. We went to the ticket office. The cashier told us that on arms' ticket was $10, but immediatly the $10 were sold out and he offered a $27 "on arms' ticket". We really paid for it, because of my daughter's illusion to watch Caillou. Additionally, based on the name of the show "CAILLOU'S GREATEST SKATE OF ALL", we expect at least that Caillou had been skating. Finally, the sound was so low specially for the story teller. We're really dissappointed with this show.

Show was OK time: Good for the Kids

by Minnie11 on 2010-12-06Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

It was the first time I have ever been to such a show, and I must say, it was an ok time! Perhaps I expected a bit too much as an ADULT. For example: 1) The show started 15 mins late, 2) The were some unnecessary parts in the show (that were boring): The dancing mailman, 3) The intermission was much too long (20mins), 4) The storyline seemed much too complex for a child aged 2-4 to understand. However, the KIDS didn't seem to notice all of the above! It seemed as though the KIDS really enjoyed the show as they were truly fans of Caillou :) The show wasn't too long at all which would be long enough to keep the kids engaged.

    Caillou was fun!

by Fancypants22 on 2010-12-06Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

All in all, the show was excellent, my 4 year old neice loved it, was dancing in her seat and clapping throughout!! The music was fantastic and the story was cute. Only downside which doesn't relate to the actual show is that of course people are always late - so the show didn't start on time (which is frustrating because we managed to travel 2 hours to the show and be early) so I wish people could be more on time.

    Disappointment

by Naknick on 2010-12-06Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Caillou performance was poor and disappointing. The production as a whole was very unimpressive. Even the story itself was boring. Since the performance is more hockey related, it is suitable more for boys than girls.

Great show! Very interactive! A little strange and disappointing that you couldn't take any pictures.

    Much better than I expected!

by Natalia on 2010-11-30Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

My toddle loved the show! It was the first show that she actually sat through and paid attention too. She didn't want to leave. The length was just over an hour with a intermission, which was perfect for the young audience's attention span. The show encouraged audience participation so you weren't just sitting there the whole time. Overall the show was good, however I did find it funny that Caillou and Rosie were the same size, if not bigger than their parents.

Alot of songs which was nice for the kids. Pretty expensive for what it was but in the end the kids loved it so that's all that matters.

    Caillou

by 3chances on 2010-11-29Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

It was way over priced for what it was. Very short in length (1 hr) My son loves Caillou and hockey so he enjoyed. Elmo and other events at arena have been SO MUCH better. I was disappointed. Bring cash...as they do not accept anything else at vendor. If you by a jersey beware they are VERY narrow.

20 minutes into the show there was a 20 minute break then 25 more minutes and show was over. A shorter intermission or none at all would be appropiate. Caillou should be shorter then his father, not taller. Fake blades could have been placed on Charlottes rollerskates. This show is only worth $15.00.

    Great show for Caillou fans!!

by nadandkevsmom on 2010-11-29Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

Having gone to many Koba entertainment shows (big comfy couch, backyardigans, franklin) I would say that this is a great example of what they do best. Fun tunes, good choreography, and lots of audience participation. (Let's just say, you're not there for the plot line!!) For the price point, I believe that you get a fun time. I would reserve 5 stars for the type of show where there's some "wow" factor such as the Sesame Street Live shows or the Wiggles, for instance. But otherwise, it's a great show and would recommend!

    Our son had fun!

by missytoes on 2010-11-29Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

My husband and I took our 3.5 yr old son. He liked it a lot. He did comment that he wished there was not as much singing, but all in all he enjoyed himself.
