It's great to see the groups being inducted. However, presentation was boring and quite redundant. One, maybe two, presenters were actually good and entertaining. Asking everyone "what does it feel to be here?", is an obvious question, that begs for an obvious answer. Be funny, and actually tell a funny anecdote.
What a collection of great Canadian artists from my childhood days! Had a few drinks and other things listening to these great bands growing up! I just wish there were video screens up high on the sides where we were sitting.
My first visit to Massey Hall, and what an experience, witnessing the induction of 13 bands into Canada's Rock Of Fame. It was the first time that the Rock Of Fame had inducted so many bands at the same time, and it might be the only time they do it. For the 25th anniversary it was a fantastic show. So many memories of great Canadian music from the 70s and 80s.
Once in a lifetime event - Massey Hall Sept 28th 2023 - showcase of Canadian talent was outstanding!!! A memorable night for the 13 artists inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame and for the audience!!
When I heard about this event, I knew I had to be there. I have loved so much of the music that was produced by these artists. A great surprise for me was Michel Pagliaro. I had forgotten how much I loved his music back in the day. I will be attending one of his shows in the very near future. The night opened strong with Trew guys doing an amazing rendition of Trooper. The energy level started high and just stayed there all night long. I had lots of opportunities to stretch my legs as I was up off my seat, standing, cheering, about every ten minutes, all night long. Great event. The next time you have an opportunity to see any of these artists, take it.
One of the best, memorable concerts ever! What an honour for Canadians to see some our legends on stage! It was like walking down memory lane!
The music was nostalgic but too much talking in between. Not enough music!
It was an honour to be present at a once in a lifetime experience. Seeing so many Canadian bands all together was really some thing as a fan it was such a highlight. Really enjoyed seeing all the old Toronto, VJs and DJs from my youth celebrating the music that they helped promote and grow up with. It was exciting to hear the performers. Mention that they haven’t been on the Massey Hall stage for many years, and it was exciting to see them enjoy being together with their peers after such a long time.
Loved the intimate venue of Masey Hall. Well organized and well produced with many Canadian legendary radio and video personalities. Liked the format and everything flowed nicely. Nice to see most inductees performing but I wished there were two songs for rockers that could perform (similar to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
