The event itself was ok. The mobile app wasn't working so I had to download the PDF to my BlackBerry & scan the bar code that way. Otherwise the event was good.

The great thing about getting the tying goal in the dying seconds is that it feels like a victory.

    Very exciting match!

by DarwinP on 2011-06-06BMO Field - Toronto

Everything was good about this event. From the great seats, to the amazing venue to the great performance from both teams. And of course, we can't forget the energy of both team's fans. I was a little sad to see that about 80% of the public were Ecuador supporters. Not because of that, but because I was expecting more support for the Canada team. Fortunately, the Red Corner, plus the few that were scattered in all the other sections, were loud enough!

    International Experience

by Sambonator on 2011-06-03BMO Field - Toronto

As a Canadian of Ecuadorian heritage I was doubly excited to see this game. My anticipation was matched only by those of the family that was going to be coming with me and we were not disappointed. I had never seen Ecuador's national team play and previous incarnations of the Canadian National team were very lacking. Ecuador's team is young and after missing the last world cup, they are poised to not let it happen again. Canada's team however, was most surprising as they were able to keep up with the South American style of play and were able to defensively keep the Ecuadorian attack stifled during the first half. Although the last goal of the game felt a little unjust for the Ecuadorians (lucky for the Canadians) the game came to a positive ending for both teams and I look forward to seeing both teams play in the upcoming Brazil 2014 tournament!

    friendship athmosphere

    by Eric707 on 2011-06-03BMO Field - Toronto

Nice game.Strange situation when game finished. Me and my nephew got out of stadium and recommended by lady (probably volunteer) to get inside again and exit from different gates. When we tried to follow her instructions we've been stopped by security demanding tickets to enter stadium( in case when game ended about 15 min. ago).Imagine if we would waste tickets we would remain at stadium territory for long time being denied to get in and to exit in the same time.Isn't strange?

    excellent game -but

    by SoccerLarry7 on 2011-06-03BMO Field - Toronto

The match wasn't sold out as we were told when purchasing tickets. The fans were poorly distributed about stadium. Canada and Equador fans were all intermingled..some pro's too I guess. There wwas a disappointingt turn out as the match was poorly promoted.A hot dog and hamburger with 2 drinks for my 2 kids was $29.00 not including taxes..The wait for the Go-train after the match was one hour !!!---they could've changed times around to allow us easier travel. bottom line i love football ...but it's getting expensive. Finaly a good game!

    by Soccer1 on 2011-06-03BMO Field - Toronto

At last we were able to watch a friendly national teams game with a high level of competition and skills from both teams in the field. I watched an excellent first half form the Canadian side and a second part with Ecuador as a dominant team. The fans also put a good show and support for their teams and at the end, even that the tying goal during the last seconds of injury time was a little bit of a tricky one, although completely legal, it was an interesting and friendly game. I hope more national teams with this type of competitive level, would come to Toronto, that would increase the interest of the great majority of soccer fanatics in Canada.

    2nd half was amazing

by Joly on 2011-06-03BMO Field - Toronto

This was not my first time to watch a soccer match. I am a soccer fanatic. My friends also enjoy soccer a lot. I am trying to get tickets for this Saturday June 4, 2011 but there are not available in my price range. Still we are going to the BMO to see if we can buy some tickets this Saturday at the stadium. The entusiasm of the BMO funs is unbeatable. They never rest, and is exciting to listen all of them singing their songs. I really enjoy the match!
