Cavalry FC History
Cavalry FC is a professional soccer club in the Canadian Premier League (CPL) based in Calgary, Alberta. The club was founded in 2018 and played in the league's inaugural 2019 season, where it finished top of the league and advanced to the CPL Final. Across the first six seasons, Cavalry FC consistently remained in the top three of the table and won the first ever CPL Shield in 2023. That same year, the club advanced to the 2023 CPL Final, securing its place in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup for the first time in club history. The following year, Cavalry was crowned 2024 CPL Champions after a triumph over Forge FC in the CPL Final and continues its quest in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup.

ATCO Field at Spruce Meadows, home of Cavalry FC, is a 6,000-seat stadium located in Foothills County, Alberta. Formerly known as Meadows on the Green, the site has historically held equestrian competitions. Cavalry FC marks the event space's first foray into professional soccer. The venue opened in 2019 and has undergone several rounds of construction for facility upgrades. Cheers at ATCO Field are typically led by Cavalry FC's supporters' groups throughout the stands.

Was a great evening for soccer, pitch and grounds all looked amazing. Only problem was that there was only 1 concession open for the whole facility. Made waits for food and beverage unexceptable,

The Calgary Calvary know how to put on a show. Pre game concert, and different booths for kids activities, free merch, followed by an amazing soccer match, which they won the championship. Followed by fireworks and an autograph session. Congratulations to the Calvary for their win. On a side note, food lines way to long and prices way to expensive. Need more food booths and cheaper choices.
Facility and experience was excellent, the atmosphere was electric.. great day

Beautiful weather and a great game. My favourite venue for any sport. Got there early checked out the team shop with no crowds or pressure, had a casual beer in the sun then headed in for the game.
What a wonderful way to celebrate with my grandson who is an avid soccer player and fan. We love going to the games. The Spruce Meadows facility is excellent. We always have a great time and love cheering for the Calgary Cavalry Team!!!
Should of gone to a game waaaaay back. It was fun. Definitely going back again.
The soccer matches are very entertaining and the crowd is wonderful. It is an excellent football experience. The challenge is the stadium is not nearly world class, even for its size. There are obstructions preventing us from seeing the entire pitch. The traffic around parking is challenging to say the least although having it included with a ticket is a nice touch. The long walk from entrance to the pitch is also interesting, because it feels like it is 5 minutes long walk. And getting in and out of the seats is a little tight. Overall I would still recommend to anyone to go and have a great time!
