  • Good time had by all!

by Batmom on 2024-09-30Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Everything was super organized and easy to get around. Only part that was a disappointment was fellow award goers who refused to let us pass them even though there was space ahead of them on the floor.

  • It was okay

    by Momof5 on 2024-09-19Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The evening was good when it came to musical performances. It just felt like I was watching a tv show from inside the arena. Didnt feel a part of the show or crowd. Just the people on the floor seemed to be having the most fun and see everything the best. Guess you get what you pay for. Would not attend again.

  • Would have been better if we could see

by Claire on 2024-09-18Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

We were sitting row 4 on the upper level and I know being on the upper level we are a fair distance from the stage, however there are usually screens set up for us to watch. At the awards show the 2 screens that were set up were a joke. It was so disappointing, in the past I have been to shows where screens have been much bigger.

  • CCMA’s

by Tindit on 2024-09-18Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This event in Roger’s Place was ‘ fan-tabulous’ ! I’m a huge country music fan.! But- one thing - Turning the lights on the audience is wrong 😑 because then we fans are blinded to viewing our beloved country musicians/artists. Please take this into consideration for further events , especially CCMA’s and the like !

  • Not quite what I expected

by Country Fan on 2024-09-18Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Really thought Rogers could have done a better job with the videoboards since couldn't hardly see and often there was just a logo on the boards. The boards were small and only in two spots. So many up and comers that could have done upbeat acoustic songs in breaks instead of an mc and nothing really to do for 4 minutes every break. Also disappointed that only 8 awards were handed out live. Dallas Smith was the highlight and had a song that made you want to dance. Event was ok but sure wouldn't attend again. Would rather a concert.

  • CCMAs

by CountryMOM on 2024-09-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

We were very impressed at the CCMA's, the pre-show was excellent, so glad we went early, the awards show was well organized, we were in the lower bowl but at the opposite end of the stage, the monitors were very small vs come events, wish they were bigger or the stage more centered. Did not know till talking at work Monday that there was a red-carpet event, before the awards, the few that knew said it was awesome. Sorry we missed that, I did not see that on the schedule of events prior.

  • CCMA

by North on 2024-09-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The performances were outstanding however there was very limited swag. I found this extremely surprising and disappointing as each performer could have had a booth. It would be nice to see a larger selection of CCMA swag that wasn’t T-Shirts or Sweaters. I would also recommend that the photo options be set up inside the security gates around the stadium to access throughout the night. Also it would have been nice if they would have announced the singers as they walked down the “red carpet” area.

  • Not what I expected.

by Too Short on 2024-09-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

My expectations seemed to be too high. I was expecting the show to be compared to the CMA’s. More performances, a stage that you could see everything not just the top half of the people on stage, winners getting up front thier seats, not a rat race from somewhere behind stage. The corners where the MC/presenters stood was hard to see and the jumbotrons didn’t show all of the happening on stage. There was alot of dead time when off air, 4 min commercials (I’m surprised they are that long). Better MC next time is needed.

I went to the CCMA's this year. I have been a country music fan for all of my 47yrs. It was an ok show. I do love Thomas Rhett but not sure why an American was a host of the CCMA's. Will I go again, probably not.

  • Amazing sets!

by Finn on 2024-09-17Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Fun, interactive live show experience. The sets were amazing. So loved the set for Mackenzie Porter, just so pretty. Shout out to Brett Kissel, who opened the show, and just killed it.,
