We loved it!.This is the true value of family in so many ways!!!
Excellent show - very well organized. Everything right ontime. Contestants were top notch as well as the bucking stock. Enjoyed the mentoring at beginning of show.
Always a fast-paced, action-packed good time for seasoned rodeo fans or those new to the event!!
the CFR was as great as always, however the Tradeshow that used to be known as Dodge City, was VERY disappointing this year compared to other years... only about half the exibitors it seemed!!!!
Great atmosphere, very exciting to watch. Great rides all around performances.
Very well organized. We enjoyed every event and this year we took our grandchildren. The amazement and excitement on their faces was an unforgettable memory for us. Job well done. Keep up the good work. See you next year.
Went to the Canadian Finals Rodeo this weekend, and it was fantastic. Everyone in my family loved it, whether they were 5 years old or 78 years old. There was lots of exciting events and there was never a boring moment. The momentum was great and I plan on coming back.
Glad we weren't there Friday night but everyone we talked with was impressed by the speed at which the cowboys in the stands came to the assistance when the bull jumped the railings. This rodeo is highly recommended to anyone.
It was really awesome! it was my familys first time going and it was fun!
Great seats, great view...line ups were almost non-existent for vendors. Awesome show!
Well done, would do it again, Its to bad more people didn't take advantage of this.
Family Day at the rodeo!? Our group which included 5 kids 11 & under, were very disappointed with the lack of entertainment by the clown. Why was he there? The kids sat on the edge of their seats with their eyes on the clown and he did nothing, except run around in the stands. If he isn't going to do anything, don't even have him there holding the kids attention! End result---We were offered tickets for Sunday and the kids didn't want to go because the clown wasn't funny! And now we hear, he actually did some acting on Sunday. TOO bad it wasn't on family day.
Fantastic Rodeo this year! A group of us girls head up every year and it just keeps getting better! Our seats were right in the middle of the stadium - great for late booking actually. "The Bucket" afterwards was great - loved the trade show at FarmFair.
For my first time, it was an unforgettable night, I absolutely loved it.
Great entertainment - going again next year - wish they would incorporate the Canadian Troops in more than one evening, which seems to be Fridays only.
This was my second year at the CFR, and I love it. The only this that we didn't like were the prices!! Everything was so expensive! Drinks at rexall $8.00 each which I know CFR has no control over. Ticket to go see Dean Brody Saturday night were a reasonable $10.000 each...BUT after we waited in line for drinks we were told that we needed tickets for the drinks, so we had to wait in line for drink tickets. Atleast these were a reasonable $6.50! over all we had a good time, just a very expensive night!
I would definitely recommend the CFR to anyone. It's a great event!! Lots of action and this year the animals came out on top!
I was rather disappointed at the intermission entertainment... Should have more rodeo type entertainment instead of a guy with a guitar. We are not at a concert. Good thing it was time to get another beer We sure missed the Texas Poker.... where 4 guys sit at a table with bull around
The contestants are really incrediable they take alot of chances for very little money. The scheduling of activities, like the clown or other actions did not go too smoothly they were running into the main events. The preperformance show was not as good as it was a few years back. But we believe that it is because there is not the money being spent by sponsors that there use to be. Farmfair was awful - they might as well not have it any more. The rodeo is well worth the ticket price our seats were reasonable and the people on either sides of us were considered and interested in the rodeo which is really a plus. There were others there that should have just went to a bar because that was all they were doing.
The rodeo was well run with events moving smoothly from one to the other and announcing was wonderful. The pick-up men were the real stars when the bull jumped the rail into the stands - the outcome could have been very tragic if not for their alertness and quick response.. All in all an enjoyable event.
