Rebel is too nice for extreme music

by Hujek on 2023-09-30REBEL - Toronto

I've seen both cannibal corpse and mayhem a number of times over the years. Music is still great, love it, but they got too big. Rebel is too large and too nice of a place for extreme music. Mayhem should play in a cave or a abandoned warehouse or a school gymnasium or a dive bar. The way black metal was meant to be not enjoyed.

    Was mostly there for DARK-FUNERAL

by Erick on 2022-11-11MTELUS - Montreal

It was a very good show overall and specialement (dark funeral) .The sound was amazing and the "telus " place was full of great peoples the stage was perfect mostly because it is the ancien metropolis and nothing have change exepted the name and i think that for black-metal bands there is no better place then the metropolis.

by Frankie on 2022-11-09The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

My first time seeing Cannibal Corpse, and it made me instantly regret all the times in the past I did not go see them. If you like death metal, or just really heavy music, do not miss Cannibal Corpse the next time they visit your town!!!

    Epic show

by Soundemon on 2022-11-09The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Cannibal corpse put on another amazing show. They always bring 100% energy to their shows, and their music seems written to sound amazing when played live. This was my 14th time seeing cannibal corpse in toronto, starting with the upstairs at the El mocombo, getting bigger and selling out the opera house, now bigger still at the Danforth. Keep growing and keep kicking ass!

    Amazing show

by Johnny McHode on 2019-11-20MTELUS - Montreal

Thy Art is Murder got the crowd harmed up, and ready to turn it up to 11 for the almighty Cannibal Corpse. Having seen Cannibal many times before, my expectations were high, and oh boy did they exceed. Kicking of the show with newer songs, before jumping back to the Bleeding got horns up and legs jumping. Awesome show, will 100% be there at the next one!!! CANNIBAL CORPSE!!!!!!!!

    Great Show !

by Destro on 2019-11-19MTELUS - Montreal

I had a lot of fun, i was with a friend and some of his other friends, we were in the lounge balcony section. Really enjoyed being there and thinking about always going there from now on. The show itself was a lot of fun. They didn't played most of my favorite songs but then again its normal as those are older songs and i am not as familiar with the new material (i listened to them mostly 10 years ago, since then only sporadically, i don't have the newer albums). I had wish there would be a VIP package to meet the band, didn't saw any, but thats surely a decision of the band. But yeah great show, had lots of fun, was comfortable. Ill repeat this set up.

    Excellent night

by Cricri on 2019-11-19MTELUS - Montreal

The 3 bands gave an excellent performance. The quality of sound was also good. I always appreciate to attent a concert at MTelus, due to the courtesy of staff and the room configuration.

    It was OK

    by A. B. on 2019-11-19MTELUS - Montreal

I've been seeing this band live since 1990-1. They didn't bring guitar techs, so they tuned between songs, an awkward 1 minute gap after almost every song and George didn't always talk to the audience the whole time. The performance was good; we still saw his helicopter hair and they played the old favorites and new stuff; but the "please wait while we tune moments" were not professional, something I'd expect a local band to do.

    Gods!

by J Mills on 2019-11-17London Music Hall - London

The one true gods of death metal still have it. Great venue and an incredible show. Openers were good but Cannibal Corpse puts them all to shame. Incredible musicianship, crushing energy and sound beginning to end. Would see them any time!

Cannibal are the BEST metal act

    by JETSFAN10 on 2013-05-23Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Don't miss this tour! It started late at 8-830pm and didn't end until past 1am (WAY TOO LONG for a week night! C'mon get your selves together. Cannibal was awesome as usual. Napalm is Napalm but after awhile all songs sound the same Immolation should've played longer, far better than Napalm. Beyond Creation had terrible sound - play all eight strings but not sure they need to do that. Archsprie just another highly technical mess with fancy sweep picking - yawn.
