    Funny AF!!!!

by Emma on 2022-08-06Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Wow thanks Celeste for a great show. And for keeping me wildly laughing both during lockdown and after … now that we can be crammed in a venue together again😂

    Funny but crude

by Anne on 2022-08-06Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I love Celeste’s Instagram, and experience it as sharp satire of the ridiculous standards women are expected to conform to in our celebrity-obsessed beauty-industry driven culture. I was unprepared for all the sex jokes and such long stories about vibrators in her live show (as was the friend who came with me). I thought her funniest moments were when she talked about her childhood and the struggles of motherhood, not the more crude cheap laughs. Maybe her humour isn’t as smart as I thought it was…

Celeste Barber is worth her weight in gold! She is absolutely hilarious and I was so sad when her show ended. I look forward to seeing her live again next time she is in town.

    Much needed laugh

by AR on 2022-08-06Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Celeste was hilarious. She nailed all things about Covid and being stuck with the kids and spouse. The whole show was great. I laughed so hard I cried. 10 out 10, if you can see her live do it!!

Stand up is a different animal

by Leslie on 2022-08-06Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I find Celeste Barber's Instagram posts extremely funny. The posts she shared on the screen at the start of the show had me crying in laughter. Stand up is a very different thing. I didnt enjoy it as much as i hoped. Content was extremely crude. I appreciate that a 'well placed' F-bomb can be very funny, but didn't enjoy the constant F-bombs in her routine although this is common in stand up. Some of the best comedians don't need to do that. Her physical comedy is very funny. A short dance routine she did was great I hope she can fine tune her stand up to funnier content. Be nice if she should find a way to translate her instagram style of comedy to her standup. Now THAT would be funny! I wish her all the best and will continue to laugh out loud at her on instagram.

    Celeste Barber at Northern Jubilee

by Patti on 2022-08-05Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

She is the ultimate comedian! So relatable! My comment is around the venue, it is a beautiful place but the sound system isn't ideal. Some words/phrases couldn't be made out because of sound distortion when it was too loud. I don't know the solution in such a large open area but is my only comment other than everything else was the best.

    HILARIOUS!!!

by Christie on 2022-08-05Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Amazing! I wasn’t sure what to expect to be honest since I only follow her Instagram. But I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. My cheeks hurt. Honestly! I highly recommend for a girls night. She is so quick and the show moved so smoothly! I was sad when it ended because I could have watched her forever! I hope she comes back to Edmonton so I can go again!

    Celeste the best

by Donner on 2022-08-05Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

A very enjoyable evening. The sound was way too loud (and I am hard of hearing). She is funny enough without the excessive use of profanity. (Several people walked out about 1/3 of the way through). She refers to the use of q tips to clean your ears (which is hazardous). A suggestion for her would to still use her reference, and adding a caveat Re the use of q tips as they pack the ear with cerumen (ear wax) which can result in ruptured eardrums and pain.

    Best girls night!

by Mel Shel on 2022-08-02Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Everything we were hoping it would be. Definitely for a certain crowd. Couple beside us had their knickers in a knot over some of the knocks at the patriarchy, bahaha. Almost felt bad about how loud we were laughing...Sorry, not sorry.
