    Hilarious and unafraid

by Pumbaa on 2022-07-30Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

I came to see Celeste Barber because of the wild photos of her that went viral, you know, the ones that have her providing her version of "typical" beautiful poses. Women who weigh 90 lbs. and are skinny as toothpicks are compared to her own very slim body of maybe 125 lbs. I sat in the front row! I had forgotten that I had gotten such amazing tickets and Iccould see for myself how small she really is. She just looks enormous next to those waifs. The photographs were shown on a big screen at the front of the Burton Cummings Theatre before she came on stage and I just howled. Tears ran down my cheeks: I have never laughed so hard. So grateful that my daughter Malka showed me the photographs and encouraged me to go see Ms. Barber. Celeste deserves all the fame she has garnered. :)

    Laughing until I cried

by Life204 on 2022-07-30Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Nothing about the last 2 1/2 years has been easy, and Celeste Barber knew that we all needed her right now! So funny, without constantly bashing men, which seems to be rare amongst female comedians. Kudos to her for having the whole place cry laughing - so great to be out in the world again!

    Adoring crowd

by Joobs on 2022-07-25Massey Hall - Toronto

The crowd went WILD for Celeste Barber... So much so that my partner had to regularly cover his ears, which he does when sirens blaze past. Deafening. Celeste's physical comedy is truly one of the joys of our time. Love her. Though I enjoyed the music with lyrics on the screen while we waited for the show to start, we waited much too long for the show to start. Perhaps because so many people seemed to have shown up late, but who really knows? I don't understand why a one person with minimal tech requirements should start more than 30 minutes late.

Great comedian… not very good seats

    by Anonymous reviewer on 2022-07-25

Celeste was fabulous. Laughed the whole way through. Not one thing I would change for her. Only suggestion I have is the speaker placement for the people in the upper level on the sides. did get in the way of viewing.
