Cesar Millan is a world-renowned dog behaviour specialist, known for his uncanny ability to walk large packs of dogs at a time. Not only that but, from poodles to pit bulls, these now well-behaved canines have each been rehabilitated and rescued from a wide range of extreme behaviour issues - anything from insecurity to severe ‘red zone’ aggression!
Born and raised in Mexico, his blessed gift - a primal communion with nature -always came naturally to him, but his unique connection to canines became most noticeable around the age of 13. Everywhere Cesar went, there always seemed to be a swirl of dogs surrounding him. The locals gave him a nickname, ”El Perrero” - Spanish for “The Dogman”.
Cesar embraced this gift wholeheartedly, and he came to America to pursue his dream of becoming the greatest dog trainer in the world. He soon realized, though, that he was searching for something rather more profound than teaching dogs basic commands.
Heeding his grandfather’s advice to ‘never work against Mother Nature’, Cesar acquired yet another pack of dogs. He passionately studied books on dog psychology, but it was through his own observation, awareness, and firsthand experience that Cesar distilled his own formulas that clearly kept dogs balanced, calm, and submissive.
I would recommend Ceasar to everyone, even if you are not a dog owner for he teaches about life. Ceasar was amazing with a great sense of humor! He is an incredible speaker and teacher. There is never a dull moment and everything he says is about getting to know yourself and transferring that energy out to the world. Thank you Ceasar I would gladly pay to see you again and again.
I can see an opera or ballet, or even one of my favourite singers for less money than Cesar Millan and though he did dance, he doesn't, sing, doesn't come with a 12-piece band, or do slight of hand magic tricks. However, I walked away feeling completely happy to have parted with the hundred bucks ticket price. Cesar is an engaging speaker. He effectively used humour to get across his key messages and got the audience involved. The body language of most of the people around me was - rapt attention, people were leaning forward, nodding, clapping and even not clapping when it might frighten a dog. If you watch the show he certainly didn't cover anything terribly new, but did use new examples to convey points and he was speaking to US. He talked about dogs and life. I'm not even a dog owner, but I find Cesar's philosophy applicable to not only my interface with cats and all animals but to my own life sometimes. Cesar showed us clearly, you really can't help anyone (not even yourself) if you're hysterical, overly excited, mad or feeling sorry for them.
Cesar Miilan had great energy. He had the crowd laughing for most of the first half and the second half I felt as if Cesar really spoke from the heart. He provided great tips for training your dog and most importantly I learned that I need to be more in the moment with my dog and I need to listen to what my dog is telling me. I think his mission to teach people how to be better people through their dogs is admirable and inspiring! Thank-you Cesar!
Cesar Millan was absolutely amazing!!!! Will try to get tickets to see him again in November!
Cesar Millan's focus and dedication shine through in his personal appearance. He is authentic and truly inspirational for anyone, especially dog lovers, who wants to be a better pack leader

Ceaser Milan was not only informative but extremley funny he cracked me up all night long this man has done so much for the world of dogs in the past few years. the world needs more people like them
Lets start out be saying it was a fabulous night for everyone in attendance. One did not have to be a 'dog lover' to enjoy his performance. He was 'ALIVE' you could feel his passion and confidence. He was extremely humourous and of course informative wilh lots of stories and examples both verbal and with selected animals and handlers to further demonstrate his points of interest. The show itself was with one break about 2 and 1/2 hours in length for the first part. Then there was another intermission, the theatre emptied but for those who had special tickets to have a "Q & A' session with him afterwards. I did not stay for that part. It left me with a better understanding of areas that I need to work on with my dog and more importantly my issues. At the same time I had a good feeling that some of the issues I have handled were done properly using his methods. In all a GREAT NIGHT and one I am so glad I went and experienced.
I have been follower of Cesar and his methods since I saw him on Oprah! quite a few years ago. I have helped friends of mine with their dogs who's behavior was unbalanced using what Cesar teaches. So, having an opportunity to see and hear him in person couldn't be missed!!! I took a friend and my sister to the River Rock the other night and we were all very taken with Cesar!!! He was very dynamic and actually, very funny too!! He really had the full house "eating out of the palm of his hand"!! Who knew he was an excellent public speaker!! The evening just flew by...all too short!! I could have listened to him talk for a whole lot longer.... I would see him again and I hope he returns to Vancouver soon!! The rest of you out there that are going to see him in the other shows here, you will not be disappointed!!!
Cesar Millan is a very skilled man,,I think his techniques are right on the mark,,,I love his show and watch everyday,,,lov u dog whisper
