Can you imagine the routine 1970's Cheech and Chong would have made of current America, what with marijuana decriminalized in a dozen states and legal for adults in a couple? The fact is, the inspired combination of East L.A.'s Richard "Cheech" Marin and Canadian Tommy Chong has always been ahead of its time, above and beyond their views on cannabis. Their legendary records-- not to mention movies like Up in Smoke and 2012's Cheech & Chong's Animated Movie-- helped pave the way to the absurdist slice of life comedy of everyone from Seth Rogen to Aziz Anasri.
The duo broke up bitterly during the mid '80's and took different paths, with Marin finding success as an actor in movies like Tin Cup and on TV's Nash Bridges, and Chong solidifying his place as both a comedic actor on "That 70's Shows" and as a marijuana activist. When they joined forces in 2008 and began touring againÑ Cheech had gone through a divorce, and Chong had just gotten out of prisonÑtheir concerts teemed with unbridled joy of two lovers reunited, and there was an immediate sense that the two were going to stick. At this point, Cheech & Chong have found their rhythm together, and ticket holders can expect both throwbacks to the pair's colorful past and surprises that show them to be as ready to push the cultural envelope now as they were in the 1970's.

I really enjoyed some of the act like both guys talking about their lives especially when they lived in Calgary and surrounding areas like Bragg Creek, Priddis and Banff. The stories were very entertaining and humorous. Most of the singing was really good. Some of the act though I thought was stuck in the 70s - tutu rock guitar dance and comments using terms like "retard" which are really out of date/touch with today. Was pleasantly surprised to be given seats on the main floor for no extra charge but disappointed that Calgarians did not support this duo because it wasn't sold out.
Expectations were met. Good entertainment value for the price. Nice to have free parking. Tickets were easy to access on ticketmaster app. Jubilee is a great location for this type of venue. Cheech and Chong are a couple of clowns! Thank you for a fun evening
It was a classic show from Cheech & Chong. The guy know how to make me laugh. It was awesome to see them perform some of there best skits live. Great show and I really enjoyed it. Just wish theyu would have played Up In Smoke.
Was exactly what I expected. They did some real classic bits from over the years and just hung out and had a great time. Great energy from guys their age. If you are a fan, s super fun show
It was a perfect date night out with my husband. Really enjoyed the show. Would recommend to everyone :)
I have seen Cheech and Chong many times over the years and they have never disappointed me, the comedy and sketches they continually come up with are fantastic, I will keep going to their concerts till they have to wheel them off the stage, hilarious show from beginning to end, l enjoyed every minute of it. I also like that Shelby is part of the act, with her witty comedy, the fit is perfect.5 Stars all the way/
Show was decent, pretty much what I had expected..so over all the show was good. Main downfall is paying for a meet and greet..only to not get any I go back as to where to get our photos we had taken at the show with Cheech and Chong...no response ..nothing...thanks for ripping me off
This was the biggest waste of my money and my time. If I could recover both, I would. Bringing the wife along to kill time between bits with beyond-off-colour jokes was bad enough, but routines that relied mostly on vulgarities and toilet bowl language to get laughs was beyond pathetic. Bad improv, lack of preparation, reliance on old schtick to get them through. It was an embarrassment. Many people left and there was a rush to the exits instead of an encore. Dave's not here, indeed.
They still as good as a remember from the last time I saw them 45 years ago. Tommy wife looks so young.
It was very entertaining...the time flew by...it's a great 2 hour show but seemed like only few minutes...I was so engulfed with the mini skits which brought back fond memories of the movies...a wonderful evening of laughter...hope you enjoy the show as much as I did...
They are really funny. This is the first time that I saw them live. Everything was hilarious. They have a great sense of humour. And even their dancing and costumes were funny. I will always go see them live when they come back. Well worth the money.
A lot of fun. Loved them. Would see them again. Good show.
Glad to see you guys back in action! Awesome show!
Cheech and Chong still have the amazing ability to really make you laugh. They are masters at the craft of being funny guys. Each time you see them the show is quite different from the last one. This time they did a lot of singing and skits. Their energy is awesome and they are true performers.
Was entertained all night loved the on stage chemistry these two performers share.
Great show, great seating. Really glad we got to see them.
It was a great step back in time seeing these two on stage. Almost surreal. A lot of great moments. Some of the re-enactments of scenes from their movies could’ve been better with minor props. Only wished there was more new content as when they were simply up there shooting the breeze about their lives, it was the best part of the show. I probably would not of paid more than the $50 I paid for a ticket.
Absolutely Loved Every Minute of our time out at this show. Id go back again and again. The Only thing i have issue with is when i got back and tried to post on social media... the cheech tootoo song volume has been removed by Time Warner BS. Not sure how this is beneficial to anyone but it is noticed and felt and i for one will boycott them for it. Ill never spend another cent or minute watching or listening to anything by them and i will pay attention. They ruined my after show social media bragging rights i paid a lot for. Pls see to it that this doesnt happen anymore. Its not right. Greed is seen and felt and today... we can do things about it. Im spreading the word Time Warner. You lose! Haha all that said... The show... ROCKED! My favourite stand up show ever! Cheers! Dave
I expected to see a lot of older worn out material but it wasn't like that at all. The old stuff had been re-worked with new twists, Cheech and Tommy had fresh new insights, and the real surprise of the evening was how talented and funny Shelby Cong is. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. If I'd known there was going to be a $140 meet and greet afterwards I would have budgeted for it and paid in advance, as it was I missed out.
