Chevelle in Concert
Chevelle is the understated musical powerhouse who have continually delivered rock anthems for the past 24 years. 7 number one hits, 17 songs reaching the top 10 charts, over 4 million records sold in the USA and many more world wide. Platinum and gold albums across their 8 studio records and successful live CD and two live DVD releases completes their extensive body of work to date. It's all credit to their continuing dedication to be true to their craft, the genre and their fans. Chevelle's last two album releases, La Gargola and The North Corridor, both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts at #3 and #8, respectively, on the Billboard top 200 charts. With no signs of this Chicago alternative rock trio slowing down any time soon, their numerous chart topping releases have certainly earned this band a place in American rock music history.
After more than two decades together, numerous releases, and countless world wide tours, the outfit consisting of brothers Pete Loeffler [guitars, vocals], Sam Loeffler [drums], and brother in-law Dean Bernardini [bass, vocals] have confidently sailed through decades of uncharted waters and have emerged with a collection that's equally intricate and intimate.
Certainly it builds upon the group's impressive foundation, including the 2002 platinum-selling genre staple Wonder What's Next and the 2004 gold-selling follow-up This Type of Thinking Could Do Us In which debuted #8 on the Billboard Top 200. The releases that followed held their own against the ever-changing faces of popular music for the time. 2007's Vena Sera reached #2 for rock album on the Billboard charts. 2009's release Sci-Fi Crimes reached #6 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the alternative charts. 2011's Hats Off to The Bull reached #5 on the Billboard Top 200, 2014's La Gargola debuted #3 on the Billboard Top 200. Most recently, 2016's The North Corridor album debuted #8 and soon reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200. La Gargola and The North Corridor both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts with The North Corridor vinyl release reaching #7 on the Billboard top 25 Vinyl charts. Chevelle released a B-sides and rarities collection titled 12 Bloody Spies in October 2018 while they wrote and recorded their much anticipated 9th studio album. This next album release, set for 2020 will be sure to add another chapter to the extensive catalog of this successful music career.
"You don't want to repeat yourself," affirms Sam. "We want to seize something different with each song. Every record has to take on its own identity. As an artist, you have to progress and evolve." As they continue to master their craft, Chevelle take on the critics and prove time and time again that they a force to be reckoned with.
Chevelle was awesome. Sound was good. Would go see them again anytime!
Excellent time. The open acts were great. Dead Poet Society bass player was very animated in his playing and very entertaining. Chevelle’s energy was great from beginning to end. First time at Great Canadian Casino Resort theatre, the venue was great. Hopefully I can see more acts there in the future
I have been to a lot of concerts in my lifetime, there is always one that stands out! As a musician myself, I appreciate the music the sounds management and the whole effects of lights and backgrounds. Obviously there is more to it but as a fan in the stands, this show will mark the absolute amazing show I have seen in my lifetime. A solid 3 piece band who knows how to facilitate multiple strands of how music is presented to an audience. It was effffing amazing. Thank you CHEVELLE.
I knew Chevelle was good and I knew I not gonna regret it but it was even better then expected.
What a great show! Awesome light setup, good sound, and the best part? The parking and proximity to the highway! Push this venue harder, it's one of the hidden gems that's right in front of your face!
Chevelle, Asking Alexandria and Dead Poets Society was an unreal show. Can't wait to see Chevelle again. Top notch performance from all 3 bands.
So awesome to see CHEVELLE live, such a fun show (The Theatre in Toronto) Loved the opening with Dead Poet Society too :)
Chevelle did an awesome job and cranked out some good tunes, as expected. This was my first time at the History venue and it was impressive. Not a bad view of the stage anywhere in the place. The acoustics were great as well. Solid choice of opening bands. I hope they come back to Canada more often, I'll buy a ticket every time.
Fantastic show put on by Chevelle at History in Toronto. Great venue, clean, nice bar, good size, and great atmosphere. The energy and show put on the by the band and then by the crowd was incredible. One of the best shows I’ve been to.
I didn't get there in time to watch Return to dust but Tigercub performed great! I was unaware of them and was really glad I could get into a new band! Chevelle was amazing and was everything I could ever have imagined! The venue itself was well air-conditioned which was great cause it was a very humid and hot day.
I love bands that still play venues like the history club. It was a great experience even if they sound nothing like the albums. Their opener Return to Dust was a fantastic call. They were great. Chevelle does have great sound just not live.
Great set, great performance, great venue, great sound. All around amazing experience. I didn’t want the show to end! 12/10
Love the venue, love the band - every time I go to History it’s a great experience, and it was great to finally see Chevelle after all these years!
It was a great show and highly recommend seeing Chevelle for those who haven't yet.
It was my first concert at History and seeing one of my all time favourite bands Chevelle. Absolutely blown away by Chevelle, of course 🤘🤘😁 however the venue added to the experience. It was big enough but yet intimate. The sound was phenomenal. The bar was quick in getting our beverages. The cleanliness was impeccable. The staff were courteous and very well organized. And parking close to the venue. Looking forward to seeing The Cult and Nothing but Thieves in the coming months! I was excited for those shows but even more so now that it’s at History! Highly recommend seeing any gig there!
Was sceptical to see Chevelle live but they did not disappoint. Great performance by the band and the venue was perfect. Grab tickets to see these guys.
They have been my favorite band for over 20 years. This was my first time getting to see them live and they were amazing. They played an amazing set, non stop and rocked the house down.
They rocked!! I love Chevelle because they always play everything I want to hear, and much, much more!! Saw them in 2010 in Mississippi, then in Toronto Sept 6 2014 as headliners, and I couldn't get enough! Serendipitously, I heard they were playing in Niagara Falls NY on Dec 16 2014, so I just HAD to go see them again!!! They never disappoint. Their sound is unmistakable, and they are excellent performers. Their onstage interaction is respectable and worthy of admiration! An undying fan***
Absolutely flawless! It was like listening to their cd! Their sound, his voice and their energy is awesome! Would definitely go again in a heartbeat!
This was my first time seeing this band live and I have to say that they were fantastic! This band puts everything they have into their show and it only leaves you wanting more! The opening band Kyng was also fantastic! Definitely go see these bands....or don't and leave a clearer path to the stage for me!
